The freedom to ride starts here. There’s nothing like experiencing the thrill of a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. Each event will feature up to 18 new model Harley-Davidson motorcycles that you can register to ride on an identified route, starting and ending at the dealership. There is no limit to the number of rides or models you can try. Just bring your riding gear with you and get ready to find your next Harley-Davidson featuring the latest style and tech offered. This is your moment - get ready to ride!
No RSVP or appointment needed! Just show up ready to ride. Once you register, the team will help you get set up with the models you're interested in.
Available models can vary by dealer, and some exclusions may apply. Check with your local dealer to see which bikes are part of the demo lineup. Yet our model offering showcases the latest and most popular models.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable ride, be sure to bring:
A valid motorcycle license: You must have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license. Permits or training course cards aren't accepted.
Proper riding gear: Jacket, gloves, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots are recommended for your comfort and safety.
A D.O.T.-approved helmet: Look for a sticker or label on the back indicating it meets D.O.T. standards. Even in states where helmet use isn’t mandatory, our rules include helmet use.
Eye protection: A helmet with a face shield works, or bring sunglasses or goggles to protect against wind and debris.
No, demo rides at participating dealers are free of charge. Just bring your license, proper gear, and get ready to ride.
Ride lengths can vary by dealer, but most demo rides are designed to give you a solid feel for the bike - typically around 15–30 minutes—through a variety of riding environments. This gives you the opportunity to see how our motorcycles handle the turns as well as the open road. Check with your local dealer for exact ride times and route.
Yes, passengers are welcome! Both the rider and passenger must be at least 18 years old and present a valid ID. While a motorcycle endorsement is required for the rider, it is not required for the passenger. All participants, riders and passengers, must wear appropriate safety gear and meet event safety requirements.
Demo rides are typically offered weather permitting. Be sure to check with your participating dealer on the day of the event for any updates or schedule changes if weather conditions show precipitation and potential riding risk.
