New Year’s Resolution: More Miles in 2026 with Harley Owners Group

As 2025 winds down, most of us are staring at the bike in the garage thinking the same thing: next year, I’m putting in more miles. Maybe you’ve got a list of roads you meant to hit this year. Maybe you just want more time in the saddle and less time talking about it. Either way, 2026 is coming, and it’s the perfect excuse to start planning rides that actually happen.

If you’d rather ride than deal with logistics, that’s where Harley Owners Group®, Harley-Davidson membership, comes in.

Every year, Harley Owners Group lines up a calendar of rallies across the U.S. during prime riding season. If you’re a member, you get access to some of the best routes, scenery, and people you’ll ever grab a lane with. These rallies aren’t tours or vacation packages. They’re rides built by riders, for riders. Good roads, good stops, and riders there for the same reason you are: a genuine love of motorcycling and the open road.

What kind of ride are you looking for? We have plenty to choose from.

Mountain View

If you want mountain views and twisty roads, there’s plenty to choose from. Vermont’s Iron Adventure Rally brings classic New England scenery and a ton of loop rides. Tennessee’s Smoky Mountain Rally puts you right by the Foothills Parkway and the Tail of the Dragon. And the Blue Ridge Rumble in Virginia gives you Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Valley, and more than enough history and scenery to keep you busy.

Open Skies

If you’d rather chase open skies and endless horizons, Durango’s Rocky Mountain Rally and the Great Lakes Rally in Wisconsin offer the kind of riding that never gets old. Or, if you’re in the mood for something a little different, the Cajun Country Rally in Louisiana brings bayous, backroads, good food, and even better company.

Cross Country Miles

For the riders who like stacking miles, the touring rallies are where you’ll want to be. You can take the East Coast down to Florida on Run to Daytona, ride the Mother Road during the Route 66 East or Route 66 West rallies, knock out ten states in one trip, or join the 13-day Posse Ride, one of those “you’ll talk about it for years” kinds of rides. And if you want to end the season on a high note, there’s the Ride Home Rally leading straight to the H-D Museum.

National H.O.G. Rally

And 2026 brings back one of the biggest gatherings of the year, the National H.O.G. Rally, happening September 9–12 in Branson, Missouri. If you’ve never made the trip to the heart of the Ozarks, this is the year to change that. Branson sits right in the middle of some of the most underrated riding territory in the country: long, rolling ridgelines, hidden hollows, and roads that seem specifically designed for motorcycles.

If you’re already a Harley Owners Group member, now’s the perfect time to start sketching out which rallies you want to hit. Pick one. Pick five. Bring friends. Ride solo. Meet new people. Get more miles in. If you’re not a member, there’s still time to sign up before rallies fill up.
