APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS

 

Don't have your journeyman card yet? Our Apprenticeship Programs are state-indentured, and designed to provide real world, hands-on experience, while also providing classroom learning through a local technical college. Participants build diverse, technical skills, while completing required training and related course work in order to receive their journeyman card. Harley-Davidson will cover the cost of tuition and books for all related apprenticeship course work.

Our Apprenticeship Programs focus on key fields where Harley-Davidson is looking for talent – each one is used as a feeder for our Journeyman Skilled Trades Workforce in the same field. We currently offer Apprenticeship positions for:

Maintenance Mechanic/Machine Repair

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the Machine Repair field.  The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journeyman’s Card in Machine Repair.

Maintenance Toolmaker/Tool & Die

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the Tool & Die field.  The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journeyman’s Card in Tool & Die.

Maintenance Electrical/Industrial Electrician

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the field as an Industrial Electrician.  The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journeyman’s Card as an Industrial Electrician.
