Harley-Davidson Motor Company can provide customers with documentation that may be used to aid in importing their Harley-Davidson motorcycles from one country to another. To request supporting documents from Harley-Davidson Motor Company you must provide the title or registration for the motorcycle to demonstrate that the requestor owns the motorcycle and the motorcycle title is clear of any Junked, Un-Rebuildable, Not-Fit-For-Use-On-A -Roadway, or other salvage branding.

Yes. Standard shipping to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses is always free, regardless of order amount. During checkout, enter APO or FPO or DPO in the "City" field. Then select your region from the "State" pull-down menu: Armed Forces Americas, Armed Forces Europe, or Armed forces Pacific and enter a Zip Code.   APO/FPO/DPO deliveries can take up to 2-3 weeks depending on local conditions at the destination.


Most items can be shipped to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses, except:

Online Store Buy Online Pick Up in Dealer

You must first select a store on the H-D.com site. Then when viewing a product, if that product is eligible, you will see the option to Pickup In Dealer. I product is not eligible, you will not see that option, but will have option to check other stores. An order may contain a combination of Pickup In Dealer items and shipped items. 

After you have placed your online order with items selected to Pickup In Dealer, you will receive a series of email messages for those items.

  • First email will be an Order Confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order
  • Second email will be a Pick Up In Store Notification when your order is ready to be picked up
  • A final email will be sent to you confirming you have picked up your order
  • If order is not picked up in time and is cancelled, an email will be sent to you confirming your order has been cancelled and will be refunded. 

When your order is ready for pickup, you will receive a Pick Up In Store email, which will include instructions for picking up your item(s).

Your order will remain available for a maximum of 7 days from the time you receive a Pick Up in Store notification. Orders not claimed after 7 days may be subject to cancellation with refund.

For easy order pickup, please bring the following with you to the store:

  1. A government-issued photo ID
  2. Your order number or the Pick Up In Store Notification Email

You always have the option to cancel before you pick up your item(s) at the dealer. Contact your dealer where the items are to be shipped for assistance.

Online Store Returns

You can return items for free at the dealer where you picked up the items based on their return policy. Contact your dealer for details. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment within 3 business days after initiating

Orders can be returned for free by mail or at a dealership, for any reason, within 45 days of the shipping date.

At this time, H-D.com cannot offer free returns on Military Returns outside the U.S.. All return charges are the responsibility of the customer. We will not reimburse return shipping charges. 

If you received a damaged or defective item, simply follow the online return process and we'll pick up the tab for return shipping. We'll also refund your original shipping charge. See our return policy for complete information.

Most returns that are sent back to our Fulfillment Center will process approximately 2-3 weeks from the time you mail your return. A refund of the merchandise purchase price and sales tax will be credited back to your original method of payment and will post 1-3 business days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. Once the return is processed, an email confirmation will be sent. 

At this time, we are not accepting online exchange requests. However, if there is an issue with your order due to our error, please give us a call at 1-800-258-2464 to request an exchange. We'll help you return the item(s) and place a new order.

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Final sale merchandise
  • Gift Cards
  • Any products that are damaged from wear or installation

Yes. Our normal return policy applies to any product purchased with an H-D Gift Card. If the Gift Card was the only method of payment used on your original order, we will credit your original Gift Card with the amount refunded. If your original order involved use of a credit card to cover part of the order value, we will apply the refund to the original gift card first and then your credit card.

You'll receive a pre-paid return label to print and attach to your return. Each label is uniquely assigned to your return request and is good for one box. You must apply a separate return label to each box you use for your return. 


Please note that a pre-paid label will not be provided when returning an order from an APO/FPO/DPO address. Instead, we will simply provide a return authorization number when you contact us to initiate your return.

If you've already submitted your return and need to reprint your label(s), click "Order History & Tracking" and then hit the "View & Print Label(s)" button near your return requests.  If you miscalculated how many labels you need, contact us at 1-800-258-2464 for additional labels.

Yes, you can return items for free at the H-D dealership that is assigned as the Selling Dealer for your online order. Your Selling Dealer is listed with your order confirmation and original invoice. You can also locate it by viewing your order details online. Be sure to present the original packing list so the store associate can best assist you. Harley-Davidson Gift Card

The Harley-Davidson Gift Card can be purchased online via Cashstar, a secure Internet Provider, at over 25,000 retail locations across the country, as well as some H-D® U.S. dealer locations.  To order online, you will need to log on from an internet provider (IP) address in the United States and use a credit card issued in the United States.  Online Harley-Davidson Gift Card orders can be loaded for any amount between $25-$500.

The Harley-Davidson™ Gift Card can be used to purchase genuine Harley-Davidson® products and services online and at authorized, participating Harley-Davidson® dealer locations across the U.S. (except in Puerto Rico and Guam), the Harley-Davidson Museum and H-D™ Factory Tours. 

Use your Harley-Davidson Gift Card to purchase Harley-Davidson® products and services online and at authorized, participating Harley-Davidson Dealer retail locations across the United States. The Gift Card can be used at the Harley-Davidson Museum or at the H-D Factory Tour locations. See the Cardholder Agreement for a complete list of terms and conditions.

The funds loaded on the Harley-Davidson™ Gift Card will never expire and the amount loaded on the card can be used until the balance reaches zero. The plastic card itself does have a valid through date printed on it which will be at least 60 months following the date of purchase of the card. This is to allow Harley-Davidson the opportunity to reduce issues related to card plastic, un-useable magnetic strips and changing laws. In the event the card funds have not been completely used after the "valid through date," the card may be exchanged, at no cost and will be activated for the remaining amount at the time you make the exchange. The Harley-Davidson Gift Card has no inactivity fees.

The Harley-Davidson™ Gift Card is not re-loadable. However, returns and credit amounts can be placed back on to the original gift card, if you still have the plastic card that was used to make the purchase online or at an authorized, participating H-D® dealer.

A purchase with the Harley-Davidson Gift Card may be declined if the authorization amount exceeds the available balance. The available balance must be known and shared with the cashier to avoid a potential decline. If a transaction is declined, you can easily check the available balance, tell the cashier how much is available on the Harley-Davidson Gift Card to use towards the purchase, and pay the remainder with another form of payment.

If the Harley-Davidson Gift Card available balance is not enough to cover the entire amount of the purchase, you can use another form of payment to complete the transaction. The cardholder should inform the cashier how much to deduct from the Harley-Davidson Gift Card and how much to deduct from the other payment method(s). Please note that some stores are not able to split purchases between Harley-Davidson Gift Cards and credit or debit cards. In these cases, a customer may need to pay the difference in cash or check.

Subject to their return policy, a Dealer may credit purchases back to the gift card used to make the original purchase. For this reason, it is very important that customers keep the gift card receipt and the gift card even if the balance has reached zero. Funds that are credited back on to the original gift card will be available 3-5 days after the return is processed. If you no longer have the gift card at the time of the return, then your return is subject to the individual dealer's policy which may include a store credit, or exchange.

Store your 16-digit Harley-Davidson Gift Card number and/or Harley-Davidson Gift Card purchase receipt in a safe location in case your Harley-Davidson Gift Card is lost or stolen. To help prevent unauthorized transactions on a lost/stolen card, immediately contact 1-800-803-7537 to report the card missing and to allow us to lock the card from further use.


You may request a replacement card for any value remaining on the card at the time it is replaced, by calling cardholder support number, 1-800-803-7537. Replacement will only be made if you provide adequate proof of purchase, the Harley-Davidson Gift Card number, and your full identification.

Please keep in mind that these are "guidelines" as you are deciding which shipping method to choose. Both UPS and the United States Postal Service (standard mail) may experience delays in delivery due to inclement weather or excessive holiday volumes. UPS will not guarantee delivery timeline or issue refunds for weather delays.

Physical gift cards can be shipped for Free via Standard (USPS First Class Postage) or for a cost via expedited shipping. When ordering multiple cards, free shipping is available, however cards need to be added to the cart separately.

Orders are processed and shipped during the business week which is Monday through Friday. Orders approved Monday through Friday before 11 AM EST will usually be processed the same business day. Orders received after 3PM CST on Friday or on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next business day which is usually Monday.

Yes. To do so, go to the "Email" tab underneath "How would you like to deliver your eGift?" On this tab, enter your name in the "Recipient Name" field and your email address in the in the "Recipient Email" filed. Complete the transaction normally. When you receive your e-gift email, follow the instructions in the email to retrieve and redeem your eGift.

Simply personalize the eGift Card for your recipient, have it sent to yourself and then print it. To do this, go to the "Hand Delivery" tab underneath "How would you like to deliver your eGift Card?". On this tab, enter your own email address in the "Your Email" field. Enter your recipient's name and your personal message on the eGift Card preview and complete the transaction normally. You will receive an eGift Card alert via email. Follow the instructions in this message to retrieve your eGift Card and then choose "Click to print this page." The resulting printout may be presented as a gift to the recipient and may be redeemed at any participating U.S. Harley-Davidson® retail location or online.

Yes, you may create and send multiple eGift Cards to multiple recipients all in one purchase. All you have to do is add each to your cart separately before checking out.

On the delivery date you choose, a message is sent to the recipient informing them of your gift, with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the email goes to a page showing the eGift Card you created (the design you selected, with your recipient's name and your personalized message), its value and code number. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGift Card. Sometimes, special offers and promotions are listed on the page.

The eGift Card alert message is sent to the recipient on the date you choose. The delivery date is pre-set to the current date, so if you do not select a different date, the alert message is sent on the same day as your purchase.

You can use your eGift Card at any participating U.S. Harley-Davidson® retail location or online at Harley-Davidson.com/store, at the Harley-Davidson Museum, and at Harley-Davidson® Factory Tour locations.

No and no. Most standard office and household printers are equipped to print eGift Cards, and you do not need to print in color. Some printers produce great results, and older printers sometimes don't print certain images well, but the most important thing is that the Card Number, 3-digit CVV2 code, and Valid Thru date are clear. If it is not, you may need to install a new ink cartridge.

There is no expiration date on your eGift Card. We recommend that you redeem it soon after you receive it, so you don't forget.

Your eGift Card has cash value and should be safeguarded like cash. If you lose your printed eGift Card, contact customer service immediately at call 1-800-803-7537. If your eGift Card has not been redeemed or has some remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new eGift Card for the available value on the card.

Our state-of-the-art technology inhibits fraud, but you must safeguard your eGift Card for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your eGift Card and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the eGift Card is tied to the Gift Card number. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the eGift Card. If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your eGift Card, contact customer service immediately at call 1-800-803-7537. Any value that has not been used can be re-issued to you in a new Gift Card.
