Museum Campus Location & Hours

Located at 400 W. Canal St. in downtown Milwaukee, the Harley-Davidson Museum campus spans 20 acres of history, culture, and fun. From iconic exhibits and shopping to dining, entertainment, and scenic riverwalk views, there’s so much to see and do. Stick around, this is more than a museum, it’s a destination.

H-D museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that hours may vary on select holidays, so be sure to check our website or call ahead before your visit.

MOTOR Restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Sunday – Wednesday) and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Thursday – Saturday).

H-D Shop is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

H-D Factory Outlet is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Where Should I Park?

    The H-D Museum campus is easy to find – just off I-94 in downtown Milwaukee at 6th and Canal Streets. On-site parking is free. Two H-D Museum parking lots (H Lot & D Lot) are located on the west side of 6th Street. Riders heading to the Motorcycle Plaza can pull straight onto campus, roll up to the stop sign, and grab a spot in front of the H-D Museum on a first-come, first-served basis.

    How Much Time Should I Plan?

    Exploring the H-D Museum can take two or more hours, but plan for at least a half-day to enjoy the full campus experience – H-D Shop, Factory Outlet Store, MOTOR Restaurant with a riverfront patio. Extend your adventure with a Powertrain Operations Factory Tour in nearby Menomonee Falls, a stop at H-D Headquarters and Davidson Park, or a visit to local dealerships.

    Do I Need to Be a Harley-Davidson Rider to Visit?

    Not at all — our campus is built for everyone. “All Wheels Welcome” and “United We Ride” are more than slogans, they’re how we live. From families with kids in strollers to cruise ship groups and wedding parties, you’ll see all kinds of visitors enjoying the thrill of Harley-Davidson. Riders or not, everyone’s welcome here.

    Accessible Guest Services

    Accessible parking is available throughout the campus. Wheelchairs, power chairs, and mobility scooters are welcome, with complimentary wheelchairs offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted. Dining areas, museum floors, and restrooms are fully accessible. For additional accommodation, please contact us ahead of your visit.
