    Scouting America Engineering Merit Badge

    Scouts can earn their Engineering Merit Badge at the H-D Museum with a guided tour and hands-on activities exploring H-D history and motorcycle engineering.

  • Vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles displayed in museum gallery

    Scout Virtual Experience

    This 90-minute online program is open to all scouts. A facilitator will guide them through the Engineering Merit Badge requirements while exploring the role of an engineer in creating a H-D motorcycle.

    Automotive Design and Engineering for Girl Scouts

    Girl Scouts will explore H-D history and the motorcycle design process. They’ll create blueprints, clay prototypes, and test their designs while earning the Automotive Design and Automotive Engineering Badges. Open to Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors. Call (414) 287‑2755 to register or email [email protected] to schedule your troop’s visit.

    On select Saturdays, a featured gallery comes to life with interactive and hands‑on experiences. These dynamic stations highlight meaningful artifacts and offer guests of all ages a fresh, memorable way to connect with the stories at the museum.

    STEAM Experience

    This 3-hour experience includes a guided tour of H-D’s history, plus a presentation and discussion with an engineer or archivist on the role of STEAM in motorcycle manufacturing.
