In the unfortunate event you Harley-Davidson® motorcycle is stolen, damaged or otherwise declared a total loss, chances are you’ll have a “gap” between your insurance company balance and your open loan balance. Don’t assume that your primary insurance will cover any loss related to your motorcycle. In reality, the actual cash value that an insurance company places on your motorcycle may be substantially less than the outstanding balance on your loan. Who pays the difference or the “gap” between your insurance company and your loan payoff? You do!

The H-D™ GAP Plan pays the difference between the fair market value of your vehicle and the outstanding balance of your loan on the date of loss.* Plus, your insurance deductible may be covered up to $1,000. With your loan balance paid in full and your deductible covered, you can move on to purchasing a new motorcycle.

Motorcycle theft is an unfortunate but real crime. Harley-Davidson^™ Theft Protection protects you and your assets by helping law enforcement quickly identify your motorcycle - aiding in recovery and, if necessary, helping you purchase a replacement motorcycle. Available on new or used H-D^™ motorcycles and fully transferrable if you sell your motorcycle to a private party. The invisible DataDot^™ theft recovery systems placed on parts of your motorcycle are registered in a secure database accessible to law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. The database cross references the VIN and DataDots^™ so that a recovered motorcycle will be returned as quickly as possible. If H-D^™ Theft Protection fails to result in recovery your stolen motorcycle; you’ll receive up to $5,000 toward the purchase of a replacement motorcycle.
