Harley-Davidson intends to lead in the electrification of motorcycles and launched LiveWire in 2019 - our first electric motorcycle, capable of 0-60 in less than 3 seconds and 146 miles of urban range. We’re committed to preserving and renewing the freedom to ride by investing in our electric infrastructure and bringing industry-leading technology to our future product line.

Improve fuel economy
H-D wants to achieve a fleet average fuel economy of >50 mpg by 2027 – that’s a 15% improvement from 2017. With the Milwaukee Eight engine, we saw a step improvement in the fuel economy of our Touring and Softail motorcycles. We’re committed to similar improvements in our future product line.

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
H-D is taking actions to improve energy conservation and reduce energy intensity and Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emissions from our operations. We are also driving to zero waste to landfill by reducing waste generation and improving reuse and recycle.

Cause marketing is one way H-D expands the impact of customers, dealers, employees and the company on social issues and causes.
