Rated 5 out of 5 by Have on every bike! I have these battery chargers on all three of our Harley's. My bikes are turn key and the battery life will be years to come. So far I have had three for around three years now and thus so far very reliable. October 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Must have a lemon... I was hopeful that the compact design of this product would meet my needs for winter storage. I have attempted to use this product three times and it has failed on each occasion. My Deltran Battery Tender works flawlessly. I hope this is an isolated case. Very disappointed... April 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Overall good product Product was easy to use and worked as advertised. However, there are other cheaper options out there that deliver the exact same thing. March 29, 2016

Answer:
The battery charger housing has the A/C plug on the underside of the unit, comes with aligator clips, and the two pin connector that comes stock off the battery wiring harness on most Harleys. Great little unit! I also plug mine in the a ground fault strip for the added protection. Good luck and safe riding!

I also put a new battery on my riding lawn mower and have the same response with it. Will the tender begin operating correctly when the battery is a little older?

Answer:
With your continued blinking amber light, could mean also you have a bad connection on your battery post or a problem in your two pin connector or wiring. With a new battery can still have issues, do a load test to ensure your battery is ok. If you get a blinking green you are over 80 % solid green is fully charged, try your charger on your car to see if you have the same results. Good luck and safe riding!

I purchased a battery for my Wide Glide but never put it on. I parked my bike for a few years. I am now going to start riding again but I am trying to charge the battery that I never installed. I am using the Supersmart Battery Tender that I purchased (2010 year) that I have never used. When I plugged the Battery Tender to the outlet and I connected the Battery to it, an amber light started flashing. Does this mean the battery is dead or does it mean that the voltage is just low and needs a few hours to get the charge up? Thank you.

Answer:
Hi WestTexan,

I would assume since your bike has been parked for a couple of years--the battery may be dead. This can happen a number of ways--especially if accessories continue to pull voltage from the battery despite not being fully operational.

Thanks!

Hey Leochacon,

Yes, you can connect this to the "pigtail" that hangs near your seat, as well as using the hardwired option.

Thanks!
