Compared to the previous generation infotainment system, it cuts start-up time in half and route calculation is quicker than ever before. Operation is simple with three key buttons: Navigation, Phone, and Music. There’s also a new back button added to the right-hand control, and a new quick jump feature allows easy access to nav, audio, and vehicle information.

NOTE: Do not interrupt the installation process. Leave the vehicle and radio turned on, and keep the USB flash drive installed until the installation process is complete. If the incorrect software file for your infotainment system is copied to the USB flash drive, and connected to the infotainment system's USB port, the following error message will result: "The ISO image on the attached USB is corrupt or incompatible".
It comes standard on the Ultra Limited, Ultra Limited Low, Road Glide® Ultra, Road Glide® Special, Street Glide® Special and Tri-Glide Ultra models. It’s available as a factory-installed option on the Street Glide, Road Glide and Electra Glide® Ultra Classic® models.

No. The system only supports Apple CarPlay at this time.
Your vehicle must be equipped with an optional wired or wireless H-D® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories headset and an iPhone® 5 or later to enable CarPlay®. Without these components, the radio will not activate CarPlay®.
No, the radio is not compatible with older models.
Due to the continuous changes from various phone manufacturers and software providers, we are unable to continually test products and software releases. We work to ensure functionality with a majority of phones currently in the consumer market.
Our navigation map database must be processed and loaded onto the radio at the time of production. Unlike current smart phones, the data in the maps is not live and downloaded on demand. Due to lead times on the map processing, our map information is frozen and locked down for release in the 2nd Quarter of the previous year prior to launch. This means that the maps in MY19 vehicles was frozen in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
Yes. Vehicles shipped from the factory with a Sirius XM module pre-installed on the vehicle have a 3-month trial period that needs to be activated through Sirius XM.
Yes. All Stage I and Stage II P&A audio packages will work with the BOOM!TM GTS.
