For decades, the Archives of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company—the largest collection of such materials in the known universe—has inspired rumor and legend. Locked away in a secure warehouse, a select few visitors were periodically admitted to view this amazing cache of historical artifacts. Now the door is open: Inside you will find a cross-section of the riches preserved during more than a century of focused collecting. Enjoy these rare specimens before they’re returned to deep storage.
Testing has always been an important part of the product development process, and tools like this vehicle, wired and hooked up to a computer, are used to monitor the various systems.
This scaled-down motorcycle is made entirely of leather! It’s one of many hand-crafted Harley-Davidson tributes in the collection.
This ice boat was constructed for a build-at-home kit and is powered by a Harley-Davidson engine!
The Archives collection holds hundreds of bandanas, representing world-wide rallies, rides and other motorcycle events.
