Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis is a former UFC lightweight champion and is currently the No. 7-ranked UFC lightweight contender in the world. Pettis quickly gained fans with his exciting and technical fighting style, as well as his athletic feats and wide range of techniques, most notably the ‘showtime kick’ which he landed to win the WEC championship before joining the UFC. Following a string of highlight reel finishes, including wins over Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon, Pettis won the UFC lightweight title and was voted to be the first UFC athlete to appear on the cover of General Mills' Wheaties box. Pettis has also earned an impressive 10 UFC post-fight bonuses throughout his 15 bouts, which is among the most in company history.
