Harley-Davidson partners with Wounded Warrior
Project® (WWP) to improve the lives of servicemen
and women who are living with post-traumatic stress
Harley-Davidson’s partnership with Wounded Warrior Project provides injured veterans the opportunity to experience the benefits of the open road.
A Soldier's Story: Healing on the Open Road
Peer-to-peer activities, like motorcycle riding, have been known to provide positive therapeutic benefits for PTSD. One in three returning troops is diagnosed with PTSD symptoms and less than 40 percent seek help.
“We’re proud of the nearly 100 years of support Harley-Davidson has provided to the men and women who defend our country and our freedom,” said Matt Levatich, president and chief operating officer at Harley-Davidson. “Our partnership with Wounded Warrior Project builds on that legacy by supporting these veterans in their quest for strength, freedom and independence.”
A Soldier's Story: Riding out PTSD
In partnership with Wounded Warrior Project, we are proud to introduce the Operation Personal Freedom Collection. This collection helps create awareness and support of the Wounded Warrior Project and the many ways they honor and empower wounded veterans. When you purchase our Harley-Davidson® Wounded Warrior Project Collection, we donate 10% of the suggested retail price back to the Wounded Warrior Project. Show your gratitude to the brave men and women who serve our country.
