Recently, Harley-Davidson announced a limited-edition line of Harley-Davidson/Foo Fighters men’s and women’s apparel. This co-branded line-up is being sold exclusively at Harley-Davidson® dealerships around the world.
Available for a limited time only, this unique collection features printed T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, sweatshirts and baseball caps and prices will start at $30 USD.
The release of the Foo Fighter/Harley-Davidson apparel comes after the Cal Jam 2018 music festival in San Bernardino, California, Oct. 6, where Harley-Davidson was a major event sponsor. The Foo Fighters were the headline act of the music festival and co-branded T-shirts were sold on-site at Cal Jam by our Glendale Harley-Davidson® and Quaid Harley-Davidson® dealerships.
“Partnering with the Foo Fighters and Cal Jam is a great example of our broader access strategy,” said Jodi Budda, general merchandise marketing manager for Harley-Davidson. “By being a major part of this event, we raised awareness for our brand among thousands of people, meeting them on their turf where they are comfortable and open to checking out our brand.”
As an event sponsor, Harley-Davidson also collaborated with the Foo Fighters to support a Cal Jam ‘18 tank design contest. Congratulations to the winner of the tank design contest, Shane Deaver of Escondido, California.
Said Deaver of his win, "The theme of this tank is mostly centered around Cal Jam 2018, because this awesome festival is what brought together and prompted Foo Fighters and Harley-Davidson to give young fans like me the opportunity to create something truly special. I would like to dedicate this piece to my family and friends, especially my mother, who only being lovingly concerned for her son's safety, secretly hoped I didn't have a chance in the competition."
As the winner of the contest’s grand prize, Deaver receives a model year 2019 Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, some new general merchandise and a Riding Academy voucher.
