Adam embarks on a cross-country tour that will honor (and surprise) eight members of the military by awarding them new H-D motorcycles powered by Milwaukee-Eight engines.
The mission launched today in San Diego, home to some of America's bravest active duty personnel and veterans, where we worked with Wounded Warrior Project to surprise Shane Kruchten, a Purple Heart recipient and WWP alumni, with a new H-D bike.
From there, H-D is asking Americans to nominate a military member in their life - past or present – to say thank you for protecting our freedom by submitting their story of sacrifice, strength and courage of service. A panel consisting of Adam Sandoval, Wounded Warrior Project representatives and veterans working at H-D will select which seven other deserving military members will be honored with new motorcycles.
To surprise the honorees and help raise money for Wounded Warrior Project, H-D will host seven events throughout the riding season including a stop at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
MISSION: “THANK YOU” will culminate on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, in New York City at the world’s largest Veterans Parade where the last bike will be awarded.
