In 2016, Harley-Davidson worked towards the sustainability goal of growing business without growing an environmental impact, which will continue to be one of the five company objectives for the next 10 years. Some highlights include improved fuel economy by 5% on the Touring platform, landfill waste cut in half from 2015, and a total amount of 7,480 employee volunteer hours. Harley-Davidson will continue to build long-range plans to achieve its sustainability goals, as they continue to build the next generation of riders globally.
