Wireless Headset Interface Module

Part Number 76000768

It's time to cut the cord with your bike. Now available for '14-later Touring and Trike models equipped with Boom!™ Audio 6.5GT Radios, this Wireless Headset Interface Module (WHIM) lets you communicate with your bike without being wired to it. The WHIM Bluetooth® adapter permits wireless connectivity to the 6.5GT Infotainment system, allowing you to communicate via CB radio, hear turn-by-turn GPS directions, listen to your favorite radio stations and so much more all through your Bluetooth®-enabled headset. Impact of Retrofit on Wired Microphone Functionality: Upon installation of the WHIM, your motorcycle’s wired microphone functionality will no longer be available. However, wired audio will continue to function as before.

  • Bluetooth® wireless technology that integrates with the 6.5GT Radio
  • Wireless interface permits full access to the Infotainment features without the hassle of being connected to the bike
  • Seamlessly use all wired headset functionality (CB, Phone, Intercom, Navigation, Radio) without the compromises of aftermarket systems
  • Dual headset connectivity - two Bluetooth®-enabled headsets can be connected to one WHIM
  • Module mounts behind the fairing and connects directly to the radio, eliminating external wires and connections to console and Tour-Pak® communication port
  • Harley-Davidson® headsets feature proprietary software that delivers superior audio quality with stereo output compared to non-Harley® headsets which provide a mono sound output
  • Completely compatible with current H-D® wireless headsets and volume can be adjusted from motorcycle hand controls

Fits ’14-later Touring and Trike models equipped with a Boom!™ Box 6.5GT or Boom!™ Box GTS audio system. ’14-’17 models require the separate purchase of Wireless Headset Interface Module Harness P/N 69201726. Installation on ’14-’15 FLHTKSE models will result in reduced satellite radio reception. Installation on vehicles with satellite radio may interfere with satellite radio or wireless headset performance. Dealer Digital Technician software update is required. Dealer installation is recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This is a great unit I wish I had it 2 years ago I’ve been using a work around, and it was a little awkward. This unit is easy to install there is even a you tube video on the the install. Very important the WHIM does not come with a cable to update the WHIM if you already have a SENA the same cable will work. You will need to update the firmware before going to the dealer to get the flash on your radio because it may not take once updated it will do just fine. I love mine and glad it’s finally out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from About time I have been waiting for HD to come out with a good wireless solution for my '15 Street Glide Special. The installation was very easy and straight forward. You will have to purchase a separate wire harness (p/n: 69201726) if you have a '14 - '17 touring bike. The only real complaint I have about the installation process is that in the instructions included in the box with the WHIM, it doesn't say anything about having to connect one of the black connectors to the CB connector even though you are not using the CB module with your radio. If you do not connect the black connector, your radio will never recognize the WHIM and you will not be able to pair your headset(s).

Are there any plans to produce a HD Sena 10UPAD since the Sena 10UPAD will only give Mono sound?

WHIM and Sena 30K

Will the Wireless Headset Interface Module (WHIM) pair with a Sena 30K headset in addition to the 10, 20 and 20S EVO?
Asked by: TimV
The WHIM will allow most bluetooth headseats (including the Sena 10s, 20s, 20s EVO and 30k). The firmware for those headsets does not allow for full functionality with the WHIM. When the Harley-Davidson 20s or EVO are paired with the WHIM, you are able to listen to the radio through the headset with crystal clear clarity. You are also able to adjust settings and preferences for the headset through the radio. When the Sena headsets are used, you are unable to adjust setting for the headset through the radio. The audio from the radio is comperable to mono rather than stereo. The communications portion sounds very clear.

WHIM with Sena Cavalry

Can anybody tell me definitively if the Sena Cavalry Helmet will work with full functionality with a WHIM? One of my local Harley dealers carries them, so Inwould think it would work (in stereo), but nobody there seems to be able to know for sure. Thanks in advance!

I'm not seeing a battery charger in the pic. Does the HD wireless headset come with a charger and secondly, how long do they work?
