In the world of functional performance, size does matter. After all, it's simple to understand that the larger the windshield area, the greater the amount of wind deflection.
- 7" Dark Smoke windshield

My Wind Splitter Rocks!
The small shoulders on the sides of the Wind Splitter causes the wind to basically go around my arms. There is much less buffeting compared with stock windshields and my front end feels lighter. There is some distortion looking through the Wind Splitter but mine is at the perfect height for me to look over the the top of the windshield so the distortion is not an issue. Love it!

Great for around town
I have both the 7" and 10" Windsplitter windshields the 7" is great for around town, day rides etc. I am 5'10" and it sits well below my eye line. If I'm cruising around I can dip my head just a little bit and get into clean air. I used it a couple of times for trips from Vegas to LA and getting low enough to find clean air is not as good on a 4 or 5 hour trip at highway speeds. I recently purchased the 10" Windsplitter for an up coming trip to SoCal and so far it is a vast improvement comfort wise. I can hear the tunes better and no buffeting. It doesn't look as cool as the shorty screens and yes it is distorted at the top (which is just a hair below my eye line) but since I will probably be on the bike for the better part of 6 hours the trade off is worth it to me. I will update this if the curve really bothers me.

Good looking. Great product.
Gives the bike that low profile look and provides protection at the same time. Also the price was the same or better than the aftermarket windshields so it was nice to fit my bike with oem parts.

Looks great on the bike
Windshield height was a bit tricky for me...I don't like to look through it, and if the top is right in line of sight it is annoying...too low and you get the buffeting right in the face where you don't want it (if you wear a full face helmet it wouldn't matter much). For me about one to two inches below point of view is the sweet spot. This is a high quality windshield, and installation is a breeze. My dealer has different sizes that you can "test drive" if you want so you get the exact height you want and that is for sure the way to go in my opinion...to get that perfect height.
