Not for taller riders
This is a very nicely built and designed product, it is easy to install and looks great on the bike. However, if you are my size, 6 feet tall, the height of the windshield is just wrong. I've tried several positions and each cause so much wind buffeting on my helmet that my head feels like its being used as a speed bag. If HD would offer taller windshield options or engineer a different shape that addresses the helmet buffeting, this could be a 5 star product.

VRSCDX V-ROD SPORT WINDSHIELD
I have had the product in use now about 400 miles. It effectively deflects the 90 mph (toll roads in Texas have 80 and 85 mph speed limits) winds off my chest making the riding position comfortable. The rake and vertical position of the windshield has very limited adjustability. The first 50 mile ride I went on the unit came loose at the fork clamps at speed. The clamps have rubber material gripping the forks and the clamping force is not particularly tight. At first I thought I had made an expensive mistake buying the windshield. However, a careful re-installation has so far prevented a re-occurrence (350 miles or so). I recommend a very careful installation. Set it up so that there are no stresses present such that no force whatsoever is necessary to get everything fitting. The windshield is not high enough for my 6' 4" height to prevent helmet buffeting, but it's really not a big deal because a little wind in the 100+ degree Texas summer heat is a good thing. There are replacement shields available (non-Harley) that employ the Harley hardware in 2", 4" and 6" extra heights. I suspect at some point I may try one of these. I have seen negative comments about the "removability" factor of this windshield. The shield is, in fact, fully removable leaving just the handlebar clamps for the upper supports, not the supports, just the handlebar clamps. The upper supports fit into the handlebar clamps with a ball and socket connection.

May not be suitable for all
Great fit and appearance but even for my modest height it is not high enought and causes unbearable buffeting above 90KPH.
I am looking to either replace the shield with a higher one (also slightly wider) from rifle.com or adding a lip at the top from Laminar Products. I'd suggest Harley source the screen alternatives from these two companies and combine with their excellent mounting system.

Good Idea but Needs Work
I ordered this for my 2014 night rod to help with the wind on long trips. My first complaint is that the claim of no "leave behind" docking hardware is just false. The two small clamps that go on the handle bars need to be screwed on and are not quick release like the fork clamps. Also, the semi permanent clamps on the bar do not have rubber liner on the inside like the quick clamps do so now I have scratches on my handle bars too! If I had it to do over I would not buy this product. I can see this going up for sale in the near future.
