Tapered Long Stem Black Mirror - Right Side is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than originals I own a 2012 48 and put a bigger tank on the bike and so the original mirrors didn't have clearances or adjustability to accommodate so bought the extended ones and what a world of difference I can see everything behind and on the sides of me. I wanted to keep them under the handle bar mount love that. Great purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOFY LOOKING PERHAPS - BUT GUESS WHAT - NO BLIND SPOT.. One feature on my 2017 Street Glide Special that I was disappointed in was the rear view mirrors. Tucked into the front fairing they looked very “streamlined and cool” but were not as functional as traditional “stem-type” mirrors. Also with the Street Glide mirrors you are not able to place your helmet on the rear-view mirrors when stopped for short periods of time. Yes – I realize that’s not what we were taught at the HD riding school but, I like to place my helmet on my rear view mirror during short duration stops. I had these installed and we soon discovered that they were not tall enough and would require extenders (which were also added). While they may look odd I have NO BLIND SPOT now and a convenient place to put my helmet when stopped on breaks. The professionals at the Smokey Mountain Harley-Davidson Service Department in Maryville, Tennessee installed these for me and did a fantastic job; as always. Highly recommend and thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bought by mistake I thought these were longer than what I already had, but they were the same. HD gave a full refund including shipping. No harm, no foul.

Long stem mirror length?

How long is the stem on this? From the mirror to the bottom of the thread?
Asked by: Badexample

What color are the acorn nut and washer?

If I'm buying a black mirror, I expect the washer and acorn nut to also be black. Otherwise, what's the point? They are chrome in the picture, so what will I be getting? The picture of the black mirror extension kit shows black washers and acorn nuts, so it's not like they don't exist.
Asked by: Saint
I just got a pair in the mail today. I was thinking the same thing, why would the washer and acorn nut be chrome. I'll have to find it in black to replace the chrome ones. But to answer your question, they was chrome.
