Good for comfort, poor quality
Giving this a 50/50 review. As far as comfort goes, the wife is very happy with it! It's a lot wider and has more cushion than the stock seat and she says it's great for long rides. That's the good.
As far as quality goes, it defiantly lacks a bit. Out of the box the front of the seat was lifting away from the base. I could clearly see the small amount of glue they used not able to keep the cushion held to the bracket. Seems to be a trend based off reviews and defiantly a quality control problem. To combat that a little I put some glue on it and I also tightened the material up a bit. I took the 2 staples out of the bottom in the middle front holding the material in place. I then pulled it tighter so it forced the cushion down on bracket more then re-stapled it. Defiantly helped close the gap. Not perfect but better.
Kinda disappointed to pay $200 for a passenger seat and have to finish it myself for it to be right.

Sundowner passenger pillion for breakout
Wife complained and complained about the stock seat. Her rear end hurt for days. Bought the sundowner today and she absolutely loves it. Her words exactly "hit all the bumps you want. I don't feel a thing". Only neg I have is it looks kinda funny when she's not on it. Easy fix, take it off when she's not.

"FAIR" as it is comfortable however engineering design lacks.
After reading the other reviews I decided to give it a try. My wife says the seat is much more comfortable than the stock, she enjoys riding with me now ( not sure if that is good or bad , lol.. ) Anyway, there is a rather large gap between my seat and this pillion as it does not line up or eam together as the stock one does on their photo references. I suspect I will begin to have similar issues referenced in reviews with air getting in-between and separating the leather underneath. I am seeing and hearing more and more about questionable engineering from HD with respect to like product for backrests seats etc... Maybe with continued less than positive reviews and people leaning more toward aftermarket products they will put a little more energy into their design. In summary I would only buy this if you plan on putting it on ONLY when riding passenger and taking off when not. Photo attached

The seat is pretty decent, especially compared to stock. I gave it 3 stars because the stock seat came with a sticker to protect my paint, this seat came with nothing. Kind of sucks to buy something, only to have a whole new problem to solve. Personally, I glued felt to the bottom.
