Streamliner Heated Hand Grips is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Addition This is the second set of Harley heated grips that I have had installed. They work very well and provide adequate warmth for the cool season in the South. I have owned BMW bikes for decades and heated grips seem to be standard and I think that heated grips should be standard on HD bikes. In a perfect world the heat control would on the handlebars as the existing location is difficult to access while in motion, IMO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2015 Street Glide Special Just got these installed. I don't know how I've ridden 38k w/o them. I'll never have another bike w/o heated grips. If you're thinking about getting them......GET THEM ASAP!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and warm on 2017 Street Glide Special Having been a technical writer for a number of years I can say the install instructions are poor at best. After a couple of hours taking things apart and trying to figure it out I relented and took the bike to the dealer for install. They charged me for 2-1/2 hours labor and after looking things over I know I could have done the install myself with some decent instructions. The ride home however was comfortable in 27 degree weather with the grips set on #3 my warm hands were warm. I'm not sure if I like the switch on the end of the grip, it might be better on the handlebar. They work great I just wish the instructions were better I would give 5 stars except for the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never thought I'd need these I always figured that heated grips were for old men, but when I did a bar swap on my street glide, I decided the extra few dollars were worth it, you know, just in case. I am so glad that I did. I had ridden for about two months and never used them and the temperature on the way home one night got down to about 45°, not freezing but still a little chilly. About halfway home, remember that I had heated grips so I turn them up to about level 3. Within a few minutes my hands were toasty warm. Amazingly enough, the simple fact that your fingers and hands are warm warms up the rest of your body. I won't have another bike without these. I can tell a difference between level 1 and level 3, but not much of a difference between level 3 and level 6. I'm not sure if that's a fault of the grips or a fault of mine. Either way, they warm me up tremendously.

I've seen on a few sources that my 2016 Street Glide special is prewired under the fairing for the heated streamliner grips. Is this true?

I have two connector according to a wiring diagram,so is this is correct ? Thank you.

Are the 2016 Trike Ultra's pre-wired internally for heated grips?

If so does it require a electrical connection kit?

What would a dealer charge for labor to install these on 2014 Street Glide?

Asked by: Tom51
Hi Tom51, It would be best to consult a H-D dealer in your area. The prices for installation vary by state. Thanks!
