Standard Single Cartridge Fork Kit is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice upgrade Had this cartridge kit installed on my Street Glide Special at 20K service. I have put 2K on the bike since the install including a weekend trip riding 2up. My thoughts on the upgrade; negates the front end nose dive when braking, holds a more controlled line in turns, takes away the bouncy feel when rolling over road imperfections. You will feel the road a bit more through the handlebars (some may not like this) If you like that sofa Cadillac bouncy feel, don't upgrade to this. I consider this upgrade a performance modification. I like to ride my bike pretty hard and enjoy twisties and leaning low. I also enjoy my long plush touring rides. This upgrade was a win win for me! On a side note, i installed the premium hand adjustable shocks on the rear at 15K. The combination of both has been superior to the stock set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much Better Than Stock I could feel the difference the first time I hit the brakes after leaving the Dealership shop. The stock bouncy front forks are now smooth and firm. The clunk I would hear and feel over a bump are gone and the bike feels much more stable and controllable. I also replaced the rear air shocks with the Premium Ride version and now the bike is manageable even riding 2 up and close the the weight limit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money very well spent I had my awesome dealer, Wilkins HD in Barre, VT install this kit during my 25,000 mile service. It greatly improved the cornering ability, GREATLY reduced front end dive when hard braking, improved ride quality and road feel. I prefer the ride quality over the stock suspension. I wish I had done this many miles ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Worthwhile Upgrade I now have 25,000 miles since installing this kit. It increased cornering stability, reduced brake dive, enhanced road feel and provides a firm controlled ride. I have no issues with the ride quality provided by this suspension kit and prefer it over the stock suspension which had a vague feel & too much brake dive. I've ridden several bikes (same model/year as mine) with 3rd party suspension kits costing up to 4 times as much & still think I made the right choice.

How does this kit and the premium shock kit compare to what is currently stock on the 2017s?

One or two of these?

Is it required to purchase two of this kit to upgrade the front suspension (one for each side of the fork) or is just the one sufficient? Thank you in advance.
Asked by: rlager
Hey rlager, This kit covers both forks, so you'll only need one kit to change up the forks on your '15 FLHTK.
