Why wouldn't it fit a 2006 883R? Which adaptations would have to be made?

Mount upside down?

I am searching for a replacement for the stock handlebars on my 2015 48 Sportster. Could I mount these upside down to keep the riding position similar to what it is with the stock handlebars? Also, if I do mount these upside down, will the under mount mirrors that I love so much about my 48 still work?
Asked by: dhowell007
Hi dhowell007, We strongly advise using the Sportster Clubman Handlebar as they are originally attended. They are manufactured to face down not up--do not modify as this could lead to a serious accident. The stock handlebar p/n 56014-09A has super to: 55800345. Hope this helps

What does a Base Width of 12 inches mean? Also... when is the bar going to be available for purchase?

Asked by: Joebotics
Hello Joebotics, The base width is the length of the part of the bar where it is clamped. Also, these are expected to be available around 3/15. Thank you!
