Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam Performance Cams- SE-204

Part Number 25464-06

Camshafts are a fundamental ingredient in the performance recipe, because they control the timing and duration of all major engine events. They are the primary means by which you can tune your engine’s horsepower and torque output. Every cam has unique lift and overlap performance characteristics, which means you need to select cams based on exactly the kind of power you’re looking for.

  • Midrange torque bolt-in cam produces peak horsepower around 5800 RPM
  • Installation does not require any headwork or performance valve springs
  • Should be used in conjunction with open intake and exhaust
  • Kit includes front and rear cams
  • Splined rear cam is included for exceptional load handling capability
  • Gaskets and bearings not included
  • Dealer installation is recommended and special tools are required for proper installation
  • All EFI models require ECM calibration

Performance Cams - SE-204 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor tech support Harley just installed these cams in my 08 RK (96cid) as well as SE tappets. The techs tell me these cams are not supported through a flash download. No 204s are. These cams are advertised as bolt in cams and are rated as a best seller. Really, please be aware of the technical limitations before purchasing these cams. I do have a SE super tuner and will have a go at smart tuning my ride. No dyno tuning available in the area where I live. Damn!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME Camshafts I have a 2013 Tri-Glide Ultra Classic and adding these cams made a huge difference, the power is outstanding and after riding it some more miles I'll know the gas mileage?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the sound Had the cams installed last Fall. The sound is just what I was after. I debated on the 204 or 255's and I am glad I chose the 204's. I also notice the difference in the hills. I don't have to drop a gear. I am running a heavy breather and VH short exhaust on a 2014 Heritage. For my style of cruz'n I could' found a better set of cams.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mid range cam.....and a cool lope too! This cams are well documented on the forums....they perform well....most likely the best SE cam for a 103" with stock heads and compression.....and they have a nasty little cam lope too.......if you like that sort of thing! 90+hp and 105 ft lb torque is on par.....great choice!

Gear Driven Cams

I am looking for gear driven cam shafts for a 2006 Harley Dyna FXDI Super Glide. I'm not looking for performance only to get away from those cam tensioners. I've been told that all 2006 Harley Dyna's are not made the same. A part number would be good also. Thank you.
Asked by: cpexpress
Hello Cpexpress, Harley Davidson does not offer any gear driven cams. You would have to look aftermarket for them. Thank you!

How much on an average will this effect fuel milage?

I understand with performance upgrades the fuel mileage will be effected, but if all driving conditions remain the same if you were to compare the OEM CAM and the SE-204 what percentage of change can I expect?
