The Stage II Big Bore Kit provides the parts you need to increase the horsepower of your EFI-equipped model. The kit increases the displacement of your Twin Cam-equipped model from 96 cubic inches (1584cc) to 103 cubic inches (1690cc).

Installation of automatic or manual compression releases on large displacement engines is highly recommended.


Installation of California performance kit onto a 49-state model motorcycle or a 49-state performance kit on a California model motorcycle will void manufacturers warranty, as it will not result in a street compliant configuration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A BIG difference! I had the version of this kit that is for my 2010 Wide Glide installed by a pro, and I am VERY, VERY happy with the results. The bike makes a lot more power overall, especially in the usable ranges for normal riding and passing. I also added a high-flow air cleaner and a high-flow exhaust system, plus you will need to re-map, and finally I went with manual compression releases, to help the stock starter deal with the extra power. The additional power and improved throttle response the bike has now is outstanding!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesme Addition I would recommend this to anyone that wants to get more power from their 96. I put it on my 2011 Heritage and it added over 20 HP to my bike. I have so much power now it is totally awesome. Best money I have ever spent on my bike. I wish I would have went for the 110 kit.

103 cu in Stage 2 level of performance, for a 2010 FXDWG?

This 103 cu. in. Stage 2 kit isn't offered for my 2010 FXDWG. What could I add to the FXDWG 103 cu. in. Stage 1 kit to get this Stage 2 level of performance? For example, is it mostly a matter of a hotter cam? Thanks!

If I purchase this kit will i be able to use the exhaust I have currently on my 2009 FLSTC?

You can run stock exhaust, but you won't get the full benefit of the upgrade. The bigger 103 jugs, 255 cam and high-flow air cleaner let in more air and fuel, so you need a less restrictive exhaust system to let it back out, to make "maximum" power. You'll also need to remap the programmer whenever you make these changes. This will re-tune the engine to match the new changes, to make your engine run correctly. I put this same version of the Stage 2 kit on my 96" 2010 Wide Glide and it made a BIG improvement, especially in the usable power bands for normal riding and passing. I also added a compression release to help the stock starter deal with all that power. VERY GLAD I did this kit, and the bonus was it also helps A LOT with more power when riding 2 up.
