Rated 5 out of 5 by from These handlebars are a great option for the shorter rider These handlebars were exactly as described. Great quality item at a good price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little more comfortable. I'm what I would describe as average, 6' tall with regular length arms and the regular Road King bars made me feel like I was hunched over. Switched to these and the ride seemed a lot more comfortable to me. Not quiet as set back as the Heritage, but about halfway there. They work well for me.

external wiring

I plan on using this on my 2012 Road King. The stock handlebars have external wiring that has two holes in the bars. The retainers push in these holes that hold the wiring harness. Do these bars have similar holes so I can connect the wires in the original manner? Thank you.

Is the rise any higher than stock and can I use these without changing the wires and cables on my 2010 FLHR

Looking for a bar with a little more height and pullback but don't want to have to change everything. Thanks
Asked by: RK2010
These bars are the same as your OEM bars if you have a 2014 Road King. the only difference is they offer internal wiring. Same Rise and Pull back. Sorry.

Will these bars fit my 2011 FLTRU with all stock wires and cables

At the end of the day on long rides my elbows hurt. I believe putting a little more bend in my arms might help. I just do not want to add additional cost of replacing other components. Thank you , your answer will be appreciated.
Asked by: glider58
Hi glider58, Yes, the Road King Reduced Reach Handlebars will fit your 2011 FLTRU. While riding, you ideally want the underside of your forearm to be parallel with the ground. You are correct, you may be uncomfortable because you do have enough bend in your elbows. Before purchasing, check with your local dealer who may have a 'Fit Shop Bike' for you to try the handlebars out on their demo bike before purchasing for your own. Hope this helps!

what other parts would I have to buy to make these bars fit on 2009 roadking classic?

would these bars require different cables and / or wireing?
Asked by: withheld
Looks like you're gonna need to swap out the clutch cable to 38667-08A, for sure, and you'll need a new twist grip sensor kit 32310-08. If you're gonna internally route your switch wires you'll also need 5" switch wire extensions 70198-07. If not, the stock ones are fine.
