Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference! These bars changed the way I ride forever on my '03 Road King Classic! I should have installed these yrs. ago....when I sit on my bike, the bars reach to me, not the other way around, it helped my back, neck and wrists, I also installed the Hammock Seat, they both produced an AWESOME riding experience...I can't belive it's the same bike!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product was an easy replacement of the stock beach bar. It was easier than I expected to replace my stock beach bar with these tallboys. I watched the videos on youtube first and it was a breeze. The hardest part was removing the clutch side grip which the previous owner glued on. All the stock wires and cables worked.

tallboy handlebar changeover from stock

Hello; Would I have to change any cables if I install the tallboy handlebars to my 2003 road king classic?
Asked by: BLACKLEATHER1959

Will I have to change any wires or cables on a 07 road king?

Also how much of a difference will it make compared to the stock bars
Asked by: Croberts55

will this handlebar fit on my 2004 Road king Classic without changing cables or lines?

Asked by: doogle
Hey doogle, Looks like you won't have to change out any of your stock cables or lines, but you will need a 5" Switch Wire Extension P/N 72187-05.

I was told I do not need to replace the upper brake line on my 2000 FLHR. Just need to bend it a little to fit?

Also, there are no issues with the detachable windshield?
Asked by: Jimboo54
Hi Jimboo54, Harley-Davidson does not recommend modifying/altering/bending any parts in order to force them to fit on a motorcycle. Secondly, the Road King / Road Glide Tallboy Handlebar will not interfere with the detachable windshield. Thank you for your question.

More Info PDF

The More Info PDF that downloads is for "ROAD KING® FAT HANDLEBAR (’08-’13 MODELS)". I'm trying to see what I will need if I put these on my 2007 FLHRC.
Asked by: Chernabog
You need nothing. The only thing that I had to do is tweak the brake line (between the master cylinder and flex line) a little bit. You will also have to massag the rest of the lines on the throttle soda a little. That's it. Good time to change grips if you want. Take your time
