Original Equipment Rear Brake Pads is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 40,000 mile brakes Oem parts fit perfectly had to work to get the rear caliper off by pusing open the pads to tip the caliper enough to clear the rim. Would be great if Harley would include the torque specs in the directions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New rotors, new pads Replaced my wheels and rotors so naturally I replaced the brake pads also. The old ones were barely worn after 10k miles, but were worn evenly. I expect the new ones will wear and last the same. Harley quality with perfect fit and finish.

What are the torque specs for the front and rear caliper bolts/pad pins?

Asked by: DarkCloud

Is this the same as the front pads?

The model number is different, but the same photo is used. Are the rear pads the same size/shape and thickness of pad? I assume different as it has a different part number, but checking. Thanks!
Asked by: FMGhost
yes front and rear pads are exactly the same just a different hardware kit.

what is the thickness of the new brake pad lining?

what is the recommended pad replacement thickness?
Asked by: 12flhtcu
Hi 12flhtcu, There's been a revision made to the OE brake pads, but the thickness of the pads hasn't changed. As for when you should look at changing out your pads, if the brake pad friction material is at the minimum thickness of 0.016"/0.4mm or less, replace the pads. Always replace brake pads in pairs.
