Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with the Nightstick I got the Nightstick 2-into-1 slip-on muffler installed last week and have been very happy with it. I first did some local riding around town, then went on a 200 mile mountain ride with my local HOG chapter. I bought the slip-on for what I believe are the same reasons everyone does: Improved exhaust note and increased power. First, the exhaust note. This is not a loud pipe. It gives a richer, deeper note than stock and makes the bike sound powerful. It's certainly louder than stock, but not at all obnoxious. It wouldn't break my heart if it were a bit louder, but I'm not at all dissatisfied with the sound from it. Overall, it brings a smile to my face to hear it when I crack open the throttle. Next, the power. This installation, with the ECM download, completed my Stage 1 upgrade. As for the increase in power, it was better than expected. Acceleration is notably improved, and digging out of the curves on the mountain twisties was more fun than should be allowed on a motorcycle (well, ok, it probably really isn't allowed). The responsiveness out of the turns is the most enjoyable benefit of having the Nightstick installed on my Low Rider. I definitely recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drop it (the RPM'S) low I just put a night stick with a stage 1 download on my Dyna Lowrider. It is fantastic. There is a nice deep note to the exhaust.. You can let people know you are around when you crack the throttle, and your spouse can hear you a few blocks away. My performance has noticeably increased, with faster acceleration and a higher top speed in each gear. The RPMs are staying nice and low at all speeds. I am so happy with my results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ordered twice Not a Happy Camper I ordered this pipe twice and returned them twice to the local dealer. The shipping boxes had no damage. The chrome was flaked or scraped off in almost the very same location and size on each pipe and would be noticeable to the eye as you look at it installed. One of the pipes heat shield was tarnished and corrosion pitted, badly. I only took pictures of the one pipe I brought home as I inspected the second at the HD dealer and rejected it, before returning home. I would have accepted a defective pipe if the blemish was on the back side and not visable. I was told that there were no more slipons available in Canada and that I would have to wait for a back-order of approx 3-4 weeks or so-maybe! I had ordered this muffler to complete the Stage 1 upgrade to my bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Screamin Eagle Nightstick Muffler Kit If your installation suggests a new muffler clamp, it should be included in the kit. Installing new muffler screw (#1 on directions) was quite difficult as the bracket on the new muffler did not line up evenly with the muffler support. Other wise, quite happy with the new unit.

Does the 2017 Low Rider have to be retune with this exhaust?

Asked by: seacure608
Hi Seacure608, If you are changing over to the Nightstick--You will need to calibrate your new mufflers! This is the only requirement for the mufflers. Good Luck!

Can you adjust the number of diffuser discs?

Considering reducing the number of discs a bit to improve flow / sound. Nothing major - perhaps 2-3 less. Will this require recalibration of EFI?
