Experience the ultimate in superior ride quality with these premium Touring shocks. These shocks utilize a single tube, nitrogen charged design.

  • Low Ride Height version
  • Offers enhanced compression and rebound damping compared to the Original Equipment-style air adjustable shocks
  • Provides a controlled yet plush ride with less bottoming
  • Larger chambers (40mm diameter pistons and 14mm rods) allow these shocks to react more quickly to impacts - this keeps the tires tracking while minimizing harshness transmitted through the frame
  • Knob behind the left saddlebag allows the rider to conveniently modify the spring preload via a hydraulic adjuster
  • Available in Standard Ride Height and Low Ride Height versions

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Drop & Easy Install I just installed these on my 14 Ultra Limited yesterday. The install required a good bike jack and a torque wrench. Overall it was pretty simple, but here's a couple tips to make it even easier. 1. The air system for the stock shocks comes right off without any issues. There is no need to disassemble the left saddlebag support or remove the seat as described in the Service Manual. 2. After removing the stock shocks, you will have to lower the jack a bit to fit these on. Having another person available to help would be a good idea. After install, I took a short ride solo. Properly adjusted (easy to do) the bike rode nicely. These brought my bike to the same factory height and geometry as the current Street Glide. So, now I think have the best of both worlds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed I bought these for my 2015 FLTRUSE. The dealership installed them along with premium front suspension. Trying to adjust the rear shocks as recommended. Instructions say on click is a full rotation. had a hard time hearing the clicks, so not really sure where I am at. A mark should put should be put on the shock so rider will know exactly where a full rotation is. Not really impressed with the ride, especially for the money I spent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much nicer ride. I wanted to lower my Electra Glide a bit, so I started with a set of 12" set of inexpensive shocks from a well known manufacturer of suspension. If I gave you 3 guesses, you'd probably get it in your first try. I wasn't very happy with them at all. Very bouncy, lots of bottoming out. No matter where I set the pre-load. My brother rode my bike and said it was roughly equivalent to the ride he gets on his Street Glide with stock springs. But I wasn't happy. Got really tired of the back-jarring, pucker inducing feeling every time I hit some railroad tracks or a pothole. And that was solo. Get my son on the back, and forget it. I finally gave up and pulled the trigger on these. All I can say is: what a difference! So much nicer ride. Much smother through washboard and tar-strips. I actually have to try to get the bike to bottom out now. It's not impossible, but even when you do bottom, it's not nearly so harsh or jarring. I will say they don't lower the bike quite as much, a difference of probably .5-.25 inches, but it's worth it. These give a nicer ride than even the factory springs with the additional travel. My brother is bummed, because he can't get a set for his '07 SG. Do yourself a favor and skip a step: buy these in the first place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Adjustable shocks Not very impressed with these shocks. Bought them expecting a soft ride not even close. They say an inch shorter than stock not the case. I have them set at the lowest setting and they are stiff. I guess you need to be 300 pounds for them to work.

Will these shocks fit on a 2017 FLHTK (Ultra Limited)?

Would like to lower the bike and hope these would fit.

Why will these not work on bikes older than 2009?

I am curious as to why these will only work on 2009 and later?
