Hammock Rider/Passenger Seat is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfort I went in looking for a seat for my 07 Street Glide for a ride from central Illinois to Memphis so that my girlfriend would feel comfortable. Well they didn't have a seat in stock for that older year of bike so I just happened to look at some touring bikes. There sat a 2015 Ultra Limited Low with just over 1500 miles. I was hooked but the seat wasn't right for me since the low seat pushes you too far forward. After test riding this seat, I was hooked and she enjoyed the long ride. So you can say I went in for a seat and left with a bike and a seat. But if you are wondering, this is a comfortable touring seat and easy to install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gonna take you longer than you think Generally takes 10 minutes to swap out at seat. Not with this seat, the seat pan is much larger than stock seat. I had to spend quite a bit of time relocating pin connectors under seat pan other wise the pan would have damaged them. I just hope I remember what they go to. Very little riding time as of yet, but initial impression is very comfortable for me and the wife. I'm 5'10" so added height is a concern .... Time will tell

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best seat ever!!! I've rode lots of seats Corbin, mustang, ... But this is the only seat that does not have me hurting in the first 100 miles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable seat Made a big difference in the ride and allowed me to stay on the motorcycle longer without taking a break. Well worth the investment. It does raise the rider up.

5'10" OK? Difference in other Hammock?

I'm 5'10" Will this be make the seat too high for comfort? What is the difference between this Hammock and the other one (52000003A)?
Asked by: FirefighterChris
I know this answer is a bit late, I'm just over 5'10". It does fill like I'm sitting higher but that compared to my 07 Street Glide which I have a solo seat on and it sits low anyways. But it is not to high for comfort, It's a great feeling seat and comfortable on long rides. Hope this helps with your question.

What backrest works with Hammock 52000176

I have a 2016 Road Glide Ultra. Would like to go with noted seat. Also currently have adjustable back rest PN 52596-09A. Tried a demo hammock with this BR and the seat would not even lay flat on the bike. So, what backrest will work with this seat and this bike?
Asked by: sportthedog
Hey sportthedog, P/N 52000126 has been discontinued and replaced by P/N 52000176, which will fit with the 52596-09A rider backrest mounting kit. Thanks for the question! Rockstar883

Demo Hammock with adjustable backrest

Reading through the reviews i noted that the opening lined up too far forward on the demo seat is this because there are two different designs, and does the #52000176 actually fit correctly with the adjustable backrest?
Asked by: PolarBear
I asked that same question at the dealer upon reading the same reviews. I was told the design is updated. I went ahead and purchased it and the adjustable rider backrest. In my opinion it fits fine. When the backrest is adjusted all the way back it seems to fit well, when you start adjusting it forward into your back, it does go into the seat, but I would think that would be expected and it doesn't bother me. There's a square plastic piece that goes on the bottom of the seat where the bracket would rub on the seat to prevent premature wear. All in all it works just fine for me, I don't have any complaints and I love the hammock seat.

wanting to make sure that part # 52000176 will work with the adjustable back part # 52501-09A for my 2015 Street Glide Special

my bike has a quick release Harley passenger back rest but I want to order seat & rider back rest
Asked by: WillieC
I had those same exact parts on my 2016 Road King and they worked fine. I traded that in and bought a 2016 Ultra Classic and they fit on it to. Now if you have Mid Frame Air Deflectors, I did some research, it will still work, but you'll have to mount the lever in the deflector or something to that affect, it's accounted for in the instructions. I haven't personally done it to my Ultra though, everything is mounted minus the lever to adjust the backrest. Bottom line, yes, these will work with your bike and you will love them both, I do anyway.
