Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flush-Mount Fuel Cap I installed the Flush-Mount Fuel Cap on my wife's 2016 Forty-Eight. The black looks great against the dark red fuel tank. Installation was pretty straight forward and lining up the trim ring was easy too. It took some time to realize that you push and turn the cap to lock it in the down position and you twist and turn it to unlock the cap - 1/8 turn each time. I was under the impression it opened and closed like the oil dipstick/filler cap did. Nice addition to my wife's bike!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks badass I got a black flush gas cap for my 2016 48 and it looks REALLY good. It's nice how something so simple can make a big change. If ur thinking about it get it !

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking, difficult to open I have 2015 Iron 883 in denim black. The cap looks great installed (dealership did it), but it is WAY too difficult to open. Like a medicine bottle, you have to push down while twisting and because of the gloss finish, it's hard to get enough traction on the cap to push & twist at the same time. If you want a black cap (I didn't like the silver one that came with the bike), I would suggest a regular replacement cap; save money and hassle at refills.
