Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT ACCENT FOR THE FAIRING! I happened to see another Tri Glide with these LED lighting strips pass me going the opposite direction as the sun was going down. I almost turned around to go back and ask him where he had purchased them since I had not seen them in any dealership. When I arrived home and looked at the Harley website, there they were. I ordered and installed the strips, supplementing the tape with clear LocTite fiberglass glue since other reviewers said the 3-M tape alone did not seem to hold them securely. After a 72 hour wait, I drilled the two holes in the fairing, ran the wiring harness, used dialectric grease on the connections, and these lights look great! Bright and easy to see, they are an added safety factor at night. One sharp, easy to add accessory that really sets off my trike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice accent to front end Added the fairing edge light kit to my Tri Glide as additional lighting along with the Electra Glo halo lights. The lights work well and look is attention getting without being over the top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Sweet and are Bright Was a little reluctant to purchase this product after reading the online reviews, figured worst case scenario I'll take it back. Clean the area very well start the lights to the fairing and let them dry for 3 days. Seems to be very secure pull the front fairing off drill 2 holes and plug them in. Lights off the front of the bike goes good with the LED headlight auxiliary lights and fog lights. Take your time and you shouldn't have any problems

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Effect Based on the previous reviews, I wanted to wait a month or two befor reviewing this product. Perhaps the HD service guys who installed it had a fix for the "unglueing" effect reported. Since they were put on, I completed 500 miles with no problem. I will report back if there is a problem, but so far so good, the effect is awesome. Note: I also put the illuminated accent fairing trim amber lighting. Great combination.

Does the wiring supplied as standard allow for a switched installation?

If not, what else does one need to do so?
Asked by: MrMIckeyT

I noticed that the LED Lighting strips are marked LEFT and RIGHT, but nowhere in the instructions does it indicate whether this is while sitting on the bike or while facing the front of the fairing. The shape of the strips are such that the thickest part, which I assume hold the LEDS should be in the front of the fairing, meaning that LEFT and RIGHT would be placed on while sitting astride the motorcycle. Please let me know...

Can these be in corporated with the turn signal/running lights?

Asked by: JimmyJoe
Hello JimmyJoe, The Edge Light kit is not designed to function as a turn signal like some of our other accessories are. Thye are only for accent lighting. Thank you!

Will the edge lights fit with the adjustable fairing air vents in place?

Asked by: Smokee
Smokee: If you open the fairing side vents, then begin your installation you will see that the bottom of the light strip ends about 1/2"-1" above the movable vent. As far as securing these LED strips, don't count on the 3-M tape alone, but use LocTite clear plastic/fiberglass glue in a thin line along the tape. Once you have the strip pressed into place, secure it in place with the small black pinch clips and let dry for at least 48 hours. I use the glue on all of my tape-on Harley accessories and have never lost one while cruising down the highway!
