D402 Tires feature a three-ply polyester casing with two fiberglass belts providing outstanding stability across a wide range of speeds. Both D402 and D401 Tires feature computer-optimized tread profiles, offset center groove tread designs for improved confidence over pavement rain grooves and steel-grated bridges. These tires also combine advanced tread patterns with durable tread compounds to deliver improved wet and dry road grip and exceptional mileage performance.

Use only H-D® approved tires. See an H-D® dealer. Using non-approved tires or mixing approved tires from different manufacturers on the same motorcycle, can adversely affect stability, which could result in death or serious injury.

Dunlop 17 in. Rear - D401 160-70B17 is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tire wear ok! I just purchase a new tire for my wife's 2014 FLD Dyna Switchback, she pulled off 10545 miles with the OEM stock tire. I am very picky with checking the tire pressure, usually I check every two weeks. I am a little surprised how little miles were on her bike when the tire became dangerously worn out. She is a smaller women and has very good skills riding so a little surprised we didn't do a little better on longevity. Also her model bike has this only tire option which makes for a very expensive purchase, the dealer said it was the only model with this particular tire. I got 19k from my Roadking's original tires which is very respectful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You Can & Should Do Better These OEM Dunlops are pretty much average in every way. Average grip. Average wear. Average turn-in. Average wet grip. Average ride. For an average tire you will pay your dealer almost three bills, plus installation. Really? I've run several different tires on the FLD and prefer the Michelin Pilot Road 4 radials, with the GT on the back, with stiffer sidewalls. It's like night and day. Less groove tracking. Superior grip. Excellent wear. And there are deals on these everywhere making them cheaper to boot. Why Harley keeps throwing these lackluster Dunlops on their bikes, I'll never know...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good durability This is the OEM tire for my 2012 FLD. Wet and dry handling was good. Replaced at 11,130 miles.
