Delton Sun Shield J04 5/8 Helmet is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Great... But Noisy and Uncomfortable I purchased this helmet because of the awesome looks. However, after about an hour of use, the helmet becomes very painful with pressure points around my ears and temples. It also seems noisier than my other open face helmets - but this may just be heightened by the pain while wearing it. I thought it would 'break-in' with use, but after several multi-day road trips, things have not improved. I'll really miss the looks and functionality of this helmet - but this didn't work for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected Having ridden with full and half helmets, I was interested in this 5/8 compromise for my blue tooth communicator. I tried the XL size but quickly realized that it was too tight in the front near my hairline. So I opted to order the 2XL and have ridden for a couple months. It's ok for under an hour, but after that it's like nails driving into my forehead. Now I have two I can't wear. Terrible design flaw near the visor mechanism. Cannot recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size chart may be correct but not helmet I used the size chart and when the xl size helmet arrived it was too small. I returned it and ordered the next larger size and guess what? It was too small! Again I returned it and now I'm gunshy to order for the third time. Perhaps third times a charm...uncertain at this time. While I may have a big head, either HD get their size chart more accurate or make your manufacturers produce helmets closer to the size suggested on the size chart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Helmet This is a nice looking monotone helmet that accomodates the speakers & headset included with some touring models. This helmet does run rather small, so keep this in mind when ordering and/or buying. I normally wear a large, but it was too tight, so I went up an XL. Helmet does look big, but I think it's just the added 5/8 portion over the ears that houses the speakers. The helmet is comfortable & the retractable sun visor helps to reduce the glare on bright, sunny days. It's not my everyday helmet, but I do enjoy using the voice commands on my Ultra Limited from time to time through the headset, so this helmet works fine for me.

Is there anywhere I can get a replacement cheek pad for this helmet?

I broke the hard foam in the left cheek pad installing my Sena 20S unit. Is there somewhere that I can go to get a replacement pad?
Asked by: eggwhite93
I just did the same to mine, but my plastic fastener also broke first, then because it broke the force broke the styro cheek pad. FYI Amazon has Echo Products Universal Audio Ready Ear Warmers for about 15 bucks that fit pretty well with double side tape or Velcro. If you actually did find OEM part. Please let me know. Thx.

will my Sena SMH 10b work with this helmet

Will my Sena SMH 10b unit attach and interact to this helmet. It clamps to the helmet
Asked by: Smittydjs
I installed the Sena 10S on my Delton 5/8 and it works like a charm. Everything routes nicely behind the liner and theres a perfect spot to mount the boom mic on the side. I originally used the thin foam spacers in the ear pockets that came with the Sena kit but they put the speakers where I could fel them touching my ears. I removed the spacers and the speakers fit right where they should with no interference and great sound.
