Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great! Be careful using impact drill to tighten screws. They strip easily. Conchos are not the same as the ones on the seat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pax Floorboard Covers BLUF: Love them, even the concho which goes with the style on my Heritage Classic Softail. That said, thought when we bought the pax floorboards they had some chrome - they didn't. And while installing these seemed fairly simple I was hesitant to drill holes in my new floorboards so had the shop install them while the bike was in for servicing. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined these are probably easy to install yourself. Again, love the look!

I have a 1993 FSTLC. Just installed brand new factory passenger floor board. No pre-drilled holes like the newer models. Do I drill and tap?

Asked by: kctimes4

How do these install?

How do I install these? Is there a installation sheet I can view?
Asked by: Topaz1945
The screws are self tappers.. you'll be better off drilling pilot holes for the screws with the right drill bit. I think it is 5/32". Only drill in 1/2" and mark your drill bit with tape at a 1/2". Installation instructions will more than likely come with the product. I'm going to purchase these and will ask at HD when I do. I watched someone on you tube install theirs but everyone has their own way of doing things.
