Wind Deflector and all mounting hardware
Compact Sport Wind Deflector is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I love it, and for the purpose that I get this it was to hide my equipment from whatever come, like my phone, my USB; and also I can install my "E-ZPass" on my bike, and for all this, My bike looks awesome. Beside all this it is very easy to install, no brain surgery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Costly Asthetic Add-On I'm satisfied with the windshield once I figured out which way the mounting brackets should be oriented on the forks and how the mounting bolts go (took me three times). The instructions are basic and somewhat helpful. I don't notice any wind deflection from it, but that's not why I bought it in the first place. I love the look it adds which is an alternative to the cafe racer style faring you see on the Street models.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great on a Sporty Having just completed a 750 mile road trip, I installed this windscreen at about mile marker 300, so I have a pretty good before/after opinion on functionality. I can attest it takes some of the wind blast off your chest but not enough where I really noted a huge difference while riding. No noticeable difference on wind blast to the head but I wasn't expecting that given the profile of this thing. I do dig the looks though, even though I'm not much of a fan of windshields and it ate a lot of bugs which would otherwise have pelted my jacket during a dusk ride, so there's a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you don’t like HUGE wind defectors....this one is for YOU. I bought this compact deflector for my Forty-Eight and it looks gorgeous on it. The installation was a bit of a challenge at first but when you see how everything fits together (especially) how NOT to get the clutch cable snagged, the installation all falls into place. I like how the compact windshield is adjustable (tilts forward) to adjust airflow and I have noticed a difference in less wind buffeting over the instrument gauge. Once again I recommend this product.

Will this reduce wind flow and buffeting in the rider's face?

Will it work if there are two gauges behind it?

I put the accessory tachometer 67182-04 on my 2006 XL883, so I have the two gauges (speedometer, tachometer) side-by-side, and wonder if the shield will still fit, and if the gauges will be "protected" by it. Much appreciated.

I'm not the best person to answer this question but I was thinking of the same thing. Going from some owner installations on varying single gauge setups I don't think this deflector will entirely "protect" two gauges. However, the deflector's mounting does seem to allow some adjustment in regards to lean. It might be possible to lean it forward a bit and accommodate the dual gauge setup. This might be a good compromise if you're ultimately looking for the deflector to protect the rider from excess windage.
