    Gauge only
Combo Analog Speedometer/Tachometer MPH is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speedo! This is one of the first upgrades I did to my bike when I got it. I didn't like the digital tach on the LCD display on the factory speedo, you have to translate that number into something usable when you look down at it; so I wanted an analog tach. This is exactly what I needed. This speedo/tach was completely thought out when they designed it, I can't think of anything I would change or add to it. Installation was easy, it was basically removing a few screws, removing one wire harness from the factory one, connecting the new one and screwing it in. The gauge has all the info I need to check in one 5 inch area; speed, RPMs, fuel level, which gear is engaged, miles/trip, distance to empty as well as the "idiot lights". I was surprised by how many option you can choose from in selecting colors of gauge. Every item on the gauge can be a different color if you want it to be, even the arms of the speedo and tach can be different colors if you want. I started with a patriotic color scheme; red speedo/tach arms, white numbers and a blue LCD; but now I change the colors to different schemes when I get bored. I have had it on my bike for two years now and no issues with it. Completely happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone that wanted to upgrade their factory speedo to something more useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great part. I had been wanting this gauge set for a while. I finally bought it and I love it. It looks amazing and works great too. The ability to change the colors is really cool. My only complaint is that since my bike is a non-ABS 2012 Fat Bob, the bright yellow ABS light stays illuminated all the time. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if it could be disabled by the user during installation. Otherwise, this is one of the nicest upgrades to my bike so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, Nice to have a analog tach. I love analog and anything I can do to go to analog is a bonus. I was surprised at how easy it was to install. All the data from the old unit transferred right over; there was zero configuration just plug and go. My only wish for the combo unit is that it was available in black. I live close to Canada so I felt it necessary to have KPH and MPH.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much better than stock, I like the speedo/tach unit. Nice to have a gear position sensor. Tach is cool to have, but not really needed. This unit looks a heck of a lot better than the stocker. There is only one issue... the sun shines off of the polished parts somethin' fierce in the middle of the day. If I had it to do over, I would get the black dial one which is essentially the same except no shine.

Fuel Gauge

I just ordered this and now I got to thinking about the fuel gauge. Since this has a gauge on it, what have y'all done with the factory gas gauge or do you just keep it and have 2 fuel gauges?
Asked by: Cowboy83
I kept both guages. The one on the tank seems to be more accurate. The two guages never read the same. I get about 40mpg on my 96" Road King and use the trip mileage to time my fuel stops. The guage has a and b trip miles so you can use one for whole trip miles and the other for gas stop miles. Kind of old fashioned, but, this method has never failed me.

Will this actually function on my 2014 FXDL Low Rider?

The LR has a two gauge (vertical alignment) on the tank, upper gauge is a speedo, lower is a tach. Both gauges are identical in size. I love the look and read-out capabilities of the combo unit (no more toggling for info...), but does it actually "work" on my bike, a '14 Dyna LR?

ABS light stays on all the time, why?

I installed this on a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic without ABS. The ABS warning light stays on all the time which is very distracting especially at night. The tech at my local dealer says this is normal but I find that hard to believe due to the bright gold light glaring into my eyes and distracting me at night. Any advise?
Asked by: ThreePete
Finally found a Tech at another dealership that fixed the issue in 5 minutes. On my 2013 Heritage Softail Classic without ABS, the Tech hooked up the ECM to his programmer and told the Speedo My bike did not have ABS. Light went out all is good. After several people gave me bad advise I finally found someone who new what they were doing. Thank you Buckeye Harley!

Trip B reset

I just installed this speedo on my 2016 Heritage Softail. I have everything working as expected but it seems that I can't reset Trip B. I didn't see any mention of Trip B not working or not resetable on the tip sheet. Am I missing something here? Can someone tell me how to reset it and/or if this is a now issue? It is stuck at 31.1, I will take it for a long ride later and see if that is related to the Marrying of the ECM/Bike.
Asked by: dayottejr
Found the answer after reading the Installation/Tip Sheet. Page 3 under Notes States: "The replacement speedometer will become locked to the ECM after 31.1 miles (50km) have been accumulated. The trip B odometer will display the countdown mileage." After going for a ride more than 31.1 miles the counter reset to 0 and started working as expected.
