CHROME PLASTIC MIRRORS
I have had numerous H-D's since 2002. I have bought thousands of dollars of H-D parts. These mirrors are the poorest quality part I have ever bought. They are not up to the typical good to great H-D products. I am not impressed with the fit or quality. I just put them on and I will be greatly surprised if they keep their adjustment. Spend the additional money and buy the chrome steel mirrors, they are worth the difference.

For Chroming Out Loud...
I added these when I installed a color-matched inner fairing on my 2015 FLHXS. My bike is Moroccan Gold Pearl and I knew the black OEM mirrors would contrast too much. Plus, you can never have too much chrome.
While they are plastic like the stock fairing-mounted mirrors, the chrome over plastic looks good. I can't tell the difference between them and say a metal base under chrome. I would have preferred a metal frame though for the price. That is why I gave these four stars rather than five.
I've attached some before and after pictures. Ya, ya, that's my thumb in the corner...
Bottom line -- if you are looking to chrome up your batwing fairing, I recommend these upgrades. They certainly look better than the flat, dull, black OEM set. I had the dealer install them so cannot attest to the ease of installation.

The instructions for these mirrors need amended to state that the drill holes in the inner fairing need to be at angle otherwise the mirrors will not fit flush to the fairing, once I had realise this and fitted them the end result is excellent.

Not so sure about the chrome plastic
Don't look as good as in the catalog but not too hard to fit and done in less than an hour.
Wind the nuts on the plastic stud a couple of times using dish liquid as lube before starting the job, it'll save you a little stress.
