Chrome Center Stand

Part Number 91573-09A

Finish / Color: Chrome

Lifting your bike upright and off the side stand is ideal for cleaning and servicing, and reduces the space required for parking - handy where space is at a premium in a crowded garage, a small parking spot, or at a ride-in bike show.

  • Chrome Center Stand attaches directly to the frame and does not reduce the lean angle
  • Designed to work with all Original Equipment suspension configurations and with Profile suspension lowering kits
  • Adjustable feet can be set to lift the rear tire clear of the pavement, or to keep the rear tire on the ground for reduced lifting effort
  • Lifting lever is inconspicuously tucked away, and fits with all Harley-Davidson® Original Equipment and accessory footboards
  • Kit includes chrome stand, black mounting brackets, and all necessary installation hardware

Fits '09-later Touring models (except FLHTKSE, FLTRUSE, '07-'11 FLHTCUSE and models equipped with Adjustable Passenger Footboard Mount Kit P/N 50768-07) with Original Equipment or Profile Low Suspension.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Disappointment I bought this for my 2017 Road Glide Ultra. The foothold extension is poor because it is too short and next to the exhaust. I noticed the feet hitting the crossover pipe so I took it to the dealer. I was told the feet were hitting the crossover because the frame had bent from using it. They would straighten the frame but it would probably re-occur in the future. I had it removed for credit and got the front wheel cradle. I had bought this stand so the rear tire would be off the ground when I checked the air pressure. It's a shame the cradle doesn't do that. I had a Goldwing for 17 years. The center stand was standard on the bike and easy to use. I cannot believe H-D put this product on the market. Maybe since this bike is totally re-designed with the Milwaukee 8 engine the frame was changed and couldn't handle this stand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good fit at all I took mine off over a year ago. It hits the cross over pipe under neath the bike and actually fell off while I was on a ride from Orlando to Wash DC. Looks great and that's all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could not raise bike on this center stand Knew of fitment issues before I had the dealer install. Decided to go ahead and try it for myself. There was absolutlely no way I could raise the bike on this center stand. In fact, I asked the technician to try and he could not. The fix is the extention lever is to close to the exhaust to get your foot on AND the extention is too short. I had the dealer take it off and credit me back. Its a shame as I was looking forward to using it. Be aware of the non Harley stands as several of them reduce your riding cearance by 1". For me, that was a deal breaker as I ride in the mountains.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design There is a definite design flaw in this center stand. The shaft is too short. It caused me to drop the bike once and almost drop it several other times on the opposite side from the side stand. As per the instruction you are not supposed to sit on the bike while lifting it onto the stand, you are supposed to stand next to the bike. Place your foot on the stand and grasp the left handlebar with your left hand and the rear fender (?) with your right hand. Of course on a Road glide you grasp the protective guard. Place your right foot on the stem and push on the stem and pul back on the handlebar and up on the guard. Great! But the stem is so short that your foot hits your slip-on pipes and is pushed off the stem, and the center stand pops back up. One last critique and that is the feet of the center stand are too close together. Once the bike is on the stand, the feet are so close together it's easy to rock from side to side. POOR DESIGNING!!!!

Why exactly does this stand not work on a 2012 CVO Ultra

I want to purchase a center stand for my bike and I cannot understand why this stand will work on an 2012 Ultra Limited but will not work on a CVO Ultra. There is no difference in the frame or suspension height. What specifically is the reason?
Asked by: BobM

Will this center stand work with the Screaming Eagle High flow exhaust system?

Will this work with the the SE high flow exhaust part #6480022?
Asked by: NightRyder
Nope. I had to remove the stand when I upgraded to the SE High Flow exhaust system.

2016 RGU (FLTRU)?

Is the 0.6" difference in ground clearance what prevents this from being used on a 2016 RGU as opposed to the Road Glide/Road Glide Special?
Asked by: MontyMoose
Hi MontyMoose, The Chrome Center Stand will fit the 2016 FLTRU. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, it will be added to the drop down menu shortly. Thank you for your question.

Center Stand does not work on 2014 Limited (FLHTK)

The exhaust pipe and the stand are touching after installation. Also, the boots does not have enough space to properly hold the stand in place to lift the motorcycle. It is almost impossible to utilize this stand on my motorcycle. Is there anything been done to correct this error. The stand on the 2010-2013 did work great on my 2010. I have the stand that I purchased for my 2014 Limited, but cannot use it. Is there a recall on this center Stand?
Asked by: Rick23
Hey Rick23, Thanks for your question. Check out the Installation Sheet located on the More Info tab. Page 2 indicates instructions for adjusting the exhaust crossover in cases where there is contact: 5. Verify that the display stand does not make contact with the exhaust system. If the display stand contacts the exhaust system, make the following adjustments in order until contact is eliminated: a. Adjust the foot pads to reduce the motorcycle display height, if possible. b. Loosen the display stand mounting hardware (Figure 1, items 1 and 2). Move the display stand as far forward as possible. Tighten the mounting hardware to specification. c. See the service manual. Loosen exhaust system mounting hardware. Move the exhaust system rearward, if possible. It will not move far. Then tighten exhaust system to specification. 6. Tighten the jamnuts securely. Your dealer can give you a hand if you need further assistance.

Ground clearance?

Does this stand make the motorcycle more prone to bottoming when loading on a trailer, or going over the hump on a steep driveway? Any other cons to consider?
Asked by: Wordsmith
The stand has been designed to work even with bikes that have lowering kits on them. Clearance should not be a problem.
