Chrome Caliper Hardware Kit is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from extra bolts needed They say it fits front and rear but you will have to buy 2 extra bolts to mount the calipers to the forks.Of course Harley does not sell these 2 bolts and they are $16 online.I actually wasted 25 minutes on the phone with people who knew nothing about motorcycles trying to explain the problem and that the paper catalog has been wrong since at least 2012. You would think they would offer a different set of bolts for the front,oh yea I forgot this is Harley.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for front Features section states front or back. Will not work with front brakes, unless you want to re-use a non-chrome bolt. Front has one more bridge bolt than rear. Kit states bridge bolts are not sold separately also. looks good otherwise....were it not for the one non-chrome bolt....lol

Rated 1 out of 5 by from $45 Really $45 for 6 bolts? Is that really a fair price? I know Harley part are expensive, but really. The kit doesn't even work right for the front caliper, it does not include the two bolts for the mounting positions! Had to spend another $25 for the chrome covers to make it look right. All said I'm into it $115 to replace/cover 11 bolts and 2 bleeder valves. Research before you buy.

pad pin bolts

what size are the heads for the pad pin bolts on the brake calipers on the 2004 deuce
Asked by: conman1061
Hi, conman. I wondered this as well, and found out somewhere (not sure if it was the manual, because I can't see it now), that it is a 12-point, 1/4 inch bolt. None of my toolboxes had it, and it is not a common socket, so you may have to look around for it. FYI, the torque specs for this are 180-200 in-lbs, but you shouldn't have a problem doing it hand tight if you are too cheap for a torque wrench, like me.

Caliper removal tool

I find it interesting that doing a lookup several ways to find a wrench to take off a caliper brings up tons of goodies, all except what I am looking for. What kind of socket/wrench is used to take these off and check them out. I think the piston is hanging a bit and you can hear it running on the rotor. Thanks. Neil
