Transmission side cover and chrome installation hardware
Burst Transmission Side Cover is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Burst Installed this on my 2014 street glide special. Little thicker then stock so is touching after market exhaust. Probably wouldn't contact stock exhaust. Heavy well built collection.

How does this install?

How does this piece install? Do you have to drain the transmission? Do you need a gasket? Are there any "Oh No where does that go" parts behind the cover that are going to fall out? Thanks
Asked by: JoeMama
Hi JoeMama, Please review your service manual for the proper procedure to replace a transmission side cover and for assistance identifying any parts on the inside of the cover. Yes, you would need to drain the transmission fluid before removing the transmission side cover, and yes, Harley-Davidson always recommends replacing gaskets when servicing a motorcycle. Thank you for your question
