Improved comfort for long rides
My Sportster 72 seat was so hard I could not ride more that 80 miles without severe butt and back pain. I replaced it with the Brawler seat. It is very comfortable for all day rides and looks great with peanut tank. I also replaced rear shocks with Sportster Comfort Flex Rear Shocks-54000040. Now my 72 not only looks great, it also rides great.

Does this sit up against a 4.5 gallon tank
I bought this seat and it doesn't match the picture.
The picture shows the seat going all the way to the 3.3 gas tank. When you purchase the seat and install it there is a 2" gap between the seat and the tank. I returned my seat to the dealer, he test fit it and saw the same thing, He even opened another box to try another seat, same outcome... any reason why this seat doesn't match the picture... would love to get this seat... Thanks
Can you use this seat with passenger seat #51734-10?
Will this seat push me back or will I remain centered (more or less)? Thanks
I have an 04 XL with mid controls. I currently ride with the stock seat and it fits me well.
I have a 2016 Sportster 72. This seat leaves you in basically the same position as the stock seat only possibly a little lower. It is much more comfortable than the stock seat. I also tried a sundowner and I felt I was sitting up on top of the bike. strange feeling. I tried a solo cafe seat and it was nearly the same feel as the brawler except it wanted to push me forward a little.
