Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Impressions Purchased this seat after much debate and shopping for a Solo seat for my 2016 Road Glide. I am tall 6' 6" 36" inseam Stock seats and many others press on my tailbone and becomes sore after an hour or two of riding. What I liked about this seat was the flat non-rise in the back of the seat and several reviews stated it was decent soft and comfortable. Many aftermarket seats that looked the same had reviews of being too hard. I installed in less than 15 min with no added brackets and my first 30 min ride felt good with no tailbone pressure. My only feedback to HD is to please put one of those black fender hole plugs in with the seat so when you remove the stock seat your not left with an open hole. Expect cost is less than $0.02

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality seat! Well made, really nice looking seat. Love the leather! This seat does place the rider lower and further back on the bike. I am 6' 2" but still had to move the handlebars back a bit to acheive a comfortable riding position. It also makes handling different that the stock seat - felt like riding a whole different bike so get ready. Was suprised by the comfort - better than expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a fit for my long legs Not much padding for the log ride but 5,ooo miles later I would still recommend the seat if you are looking for a way to move your butt back to get the long legs out in front of you.

What is the part # for a seat bracket to mount this seat to 2010 FLHTCU?

Asked by: aea257

What can I add as a comfortable passenger pillion that would be easy to install/take off

I love the look of this seat. That being said, when I want to take my wife riding, I need a good solution for a comfortable passenger pillion. I have the adjustable backrest I can clip on for her, now would just need to add a comfy pillion for her backside. Not too concerned about aesthetics when she's riding with me----because I would obviously just take it right off when we're through, along with the backrest. Standing by for recommendations! Thanks 2017' Road Glide Special, Japan

Will a rider backrest work with this seat?
Asked by: CarolinaBiker
Sure---I already have the adjustable backrest mounts on the Road Glide. That won't affect it at all. My problem is I want to take off the stock seat (because the passenger seat isn't that comfortable), install the Brawler, and be able to put on a more comfortable passenger pillion when she rides with me
