Boom! Audio Stage II Road Glide Fairing Speaker Kit

Part Number 76000956

Big and bold is the best way to describe the musical performance you will experience when listening to your favorite band through a Boom!™ Audio Stage II sound system. The weather-proof 3-way speakers feature high-excursion woofers for extended bass performance, and separate mid- and high-frequency drivers for rich vocals and startlingly real treble notes. Each pair of speakers is capable of producing “filling-rattling” volume.

  • Designed to work seamlessly with the factory-installed Boom!™ Audio infotainment head unit, the Boom!™ Stage II components are system-matched and feature custom-tuned static and dynamic equalization that dial in the ideal setup for your ride
  • 6.5” long-throw woofer for low frequencies, a bridge mounted mid frequency driver, and a separate tweeter for high frequencies
  • As a bi-amplified system, each speaker is powered by two channels from our 300 watt amplifier - one channel powers the woofer, and another powers the mid/tweeter combo
  • When powered by separate dedicated bass and high-frequency amplifier channels, you are doubling the power to each speaker when compared to our Boom!™ Audio Stage I system
  • Thumping bass response, sizzling vocals and clean distortion free performance at all volume levels
  • Built with composite speaker frames, Neodymium magnets and protective perforated metal grills, these weather and vibration resistant speakers are designed for life on the road
  • Complete kit includes two 3-way speakers, electronic crossovers, grills and plug-in connections
  • Separate purchase of amplifiers and fitment-specific installation hardware is required

Fits ’15-later FLTRU, FLTRUSE, FLTRX and FLTRXS models. Stock on '18-later FLTRXSE models. Requires separate purchase of a Boom!™ Audio accessory amplifier. Not compatible with models equipped with Stage I Boom!™ Audio components. Dealer installation and software updates are required.

Boom! Audio Stage II 6.5 Road Glide Fairing Speakers is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad mistake! I bought this and amp for front fairing for my 16 road glide special. All I can say is bad mistake, sounds like stock setup after $1500 later. Harley needs to look into this issue how can u call something a upgrade and sound the same. I had a Suzuki burgman with better sounds for only $500 and it would blow this upgrade out the water. Please don't waste your money. Iam going to remove and find something else ASAP.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good at first, went down hill quick Speakers/amp sounded good at first, after less than a year they are cracking and popping(sounds like an old record album)and one of the speakers is obviously blown.Originally had a well known aftermarket system similar to this but it was distorted and couldn't overcome the H-D proprietary software.Quality and durability needs improved!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not For The Money... I bought the Stage II and my 2017 RG last November, 2016. I've already blown a speaker, left side fairing. I did this agains my better judgement. What's a $1000 right? I mean I installed it myself, that being said, it only gave me a year instead of 2 years. Even the service tech while getting it flashed told me to drive them hard because you only have a year warranty. If I was reading reviews...I would pass up on the Boom Stage II. It's better than stock but as a person that build system in the 90s, you do better by going to Biketronics and buying the wiring kits and install you own amps and speakers to be used with the Boom Audio or totally remove the Boom Audio system all together and install a aftermarket system if music is your deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money. I had the amp and stage 1 comparable speakers installed. That set up sounded good with clear, punchy bass response. Then decided to upgrade to the Boom II speakers to get the full use of the amplifier output. Big mistake. The equalization files installed for the Boom II set up overdrive the bass to distortion past 1/4 volume - a rumble rather than a clean hit. Sounds nothing like the display board. I demonstrated this to the service writer and he agreed it sounded bad. The tech shrugged it off and said they all sound like that and that the Digital Tech software loads everything based on the bike model, amp and speakers. Called the MOCO customer support and got the brush off too. The EQ files for the Boom II system are hosed and nobody wants to do anything about it. I'm having the Boom II removed and going back to the stage 1 arrangement. It sounds better, by a lot. Bottom line is that many dealers aren't adequately trained to know how to cope with the Boom Box systems. They don't have a good handle on installation and configuration or how to properly troubleshoot them.

What is the difference of the superseded 76000594 and 76000594a ?

Will the 76000594 part number work ok in my 2017 Road glide. What was changed on the 76000594A ? Thanks.
Asked by: ScootyP

In the description is says they are "powered by a dedicated 300 watt amplifler". Is that true?? The dealer said I will need an amp.

Asked by: sniper
Yes you do need an amp. If you don't get the amp you will be disappointed with speakers

What is the RMS for these speakers?

Asked by: nparker5

Asked by: LROBISON38
No reason. Just make sure volume is up and you have selected am fm or using your usb device. Just watch your battery. The amp draws some power

Boom Audio Speakers w/ Aftermarker Amp

I am considered the Boom Audio Stage II, both front & rear speakers. Will my aftermarket (4-channel 500w) amp, work with both set of speakers?
Asked by: DamienJ
Hi DamienJ, Unfortunately, we do not have access to Aftermarket information. So, we can not confirm compatibility between Aftermarket products and our Genuine Harley-Davidson Parts & Accessories. Please contact your local dealership for further assistance. Thank you for your question.
