Boom! Audio Saddlebag Speaker Kit is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking with needed improvements Speaker lids are very nice looking and color matched. The small 5x7 size limits speakers though and wish they were 6x9 like a lot of aftermarket lids. Boom speakers are terrible and a bad investment IMO!. Take it to a stereo shop that installs Hertz and be done with it the first time for way less money. Way overpriced for what they will net you volume wise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are clear even at 80MPH My 2014 Street Glide Special was a corporate owned vehicle so it came with Stage 1 fairing and lowers speakers along with these saddlebag speakers. The first set blew right after I bought the bike. But since they were under warranty they were replaced. Then the dealer broke the connector at the saddlebag when servicing the bike. Took 3 separate trips for the correct parts to get in. But now that everything is fixed these speakers are great. I bump the fader just barely to the lowers and to the saddlebags and I can hear these speakers nice and clear even at 80+ mph. I wear a half helmet so it might be difficult to hear with a full face helmet. I never turn the volume over ¾. No, the bass isn't as noticeable at hwy speeds but that's due to noise canceling coming from the exhaust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from saddle bag speaker kit Great addition to bike. Made a huge difference in sound. Installed these along with boom audio stage 1 amp and front fairing speakers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Now, I'll take the Stage II anyday I bought these in Jan. of this year for my 2015 Street glide. At highway speeds these are no good. The Bass is just not up to par, as within 2 weeks or so, they came out with the Stage II speakers. The problem is, it reads."FINAL SALE, NON-RETURNABLE", why is that? The Stage II /Amp. work better than the Stage I one's with a amp. and can be heard far better. Read the specs. and you decide. More Bass and Better sound is what I wanted but bought these in Jan. and now I'm stuck with them in just two weeks later in Feb.

76000489 Boom! Audio, Saddlebag Speaker Kit

Can these Stage I Saddlebag Speakers be paired with the following: 76000524 Boom! Audio Stage II 6.5” Batwing Fairing Speakers 76000278 Boom! Audio Fairing Mounted Audio Amplifier Kit lf so, how would they sound ... It is my understanding the Amp in the Head Unit would be turned off when installing a Fairing Mounted Amp. Could the amp in the Head Unit be used to power the Saddlebag Mounted Speakers ...
Asked by: OOHank
Hi OOHank, Unfortunately, no, P/N 76000489 can not be paired with P/N 76000524 or P/N 76000278. Stage I Boom! Audio kits are not compatible with Stage II Boom! Audio kits. It has to be either one or the other, Stage I or Stage II. Thank you for your question, FXS78

I have a 2015 Street Glide Special. If i install the Bagger Audio kit which includes 2-6.5 Hi Output speakers and 4 channel amp.

Will this amp power the 2- 5x7 bag speakers, or do i have to install a separate amp.

Hows the sound without an Amp, Are the bags detachable after install?

Just ordered this kit and the lids, waiting on their arrival to my local shop. Curious if anyone has heard how the speakers sound without adding an Amp? (I know the amp would be ideal) Also, I like to take my saddlebags off when giving the bike a good cleaning, is this going to be a problem now that they're wired up to the bike or is there some kind of quick disconnect? appreciate any feedback guys, not much insight on this kit out there yet, so I braved it and ordered

Yes the bags are detaxchable. Not sure how they sound without the amp

Do I need the $700 amp kit as well

I've got a 14 Limited and already upgraded the audio to the Boom Bagger Amp and Speaker kit for the fairing and Tour Pack speakers. Do I need to also add the Speaker Expansion kit to make the saddlebag speakers work along with the fairing and tour pack speakers? I'm putting on the detachable tour pack kit and want to have rear speakers when the tour pack is off but have all 6 working when the tour pack is on. If what I'm reading is correct the expansion kit is required for more than 4 speakers even though my dealer is saying I don't need it. If it is required, can I use the already upgraded wiring harness that came with the bagger amp and just run the saddlebag speakers off that and leave the tour pack speakers unplugged? Thanks
