Bar & Shield Front LED Turn Signals is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Costly These are exceptional for safety while it works. After two years I've shelled out nearly 400 bucks because they fail. Broken off capacitors on 2 and another that only half of the led fixture lights. Harley needs a sustainable retrofit to repair instead of entire fixture replacement when these go bad. I am very dissapointed with the longevity of this expensive piece of crap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2013 Electraglide ultra limited install front LED turn signals This was an easy install. The wiring and install was easy. The piece appears to be designed for the bike. It is still working after a year and 13k miles. I thought it would be brighter during day riding. It must be since at night is really is bright as I can see on the road that it is operating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from H-D Design Flaw I purchased both the front and rear LED Turn Signals on 10/2013. By July 2014 one of my rear turn signals stopped working in the middle of a 4,000 mile trip. Upon inspecting it, the big capacitor was completely loose inside of it, with both connections to the circuit board broken. The dealer in AZ tried to solder it back in place but it wouldn't work anymore. I got a replacement under warranty and it has been working fine since. Last weekend one of the front ones stopped working and after inspecting it, one of the connections on the same capacitor was broken. Tried to solder it back but no luck. Now I will try to get a warranty replacement even though it has been more than one year since purchase because it is clearly a design flaw to have such big capacitor holding its weight on two curved connections to the circuit board. You don't need a lot of vibration to have them break! So what I did on the other 3 working LED Turn Signals was to apply Electronic grade silicone around the capacitor an its two connections to the circuit board. This should prevent the capacitor connections from breaking again and hopefully it is the only design flaw. H-D should make a recall and either apply silicone or resin around that capacitor to keep customers satisfied with quite an expensive product. When they work they are very nice but for the price tag you would think they would last several years/miles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from disappointing bought this product in fall of 2012. Besides being fairly challenging to install, as of spring 2015 I have had to replace these 2 1/2 times!!! ridiculous how fast these burn out. And in that time frame, I've only put on 7,000 miles. Even though these look great when working, I would NOT recommend purchase due to lack of quality.

Do these function in run mode (as running lights) as the OEM incandescents do or do they only function as turn signals / hazard signals?

is there a part number for the amber lens alone?

Why are the rear indicators red and not amber as in the front?
Asked by: rustyales
The lenses for the B&S Front LED Turn Signals aren't sold separately, sorry. As for the rear indicator lights on a '13 FLHRC, I'm showing that they come stock with amber lenses.
