AM/FM Antenna Relocation Kit is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need this with a tour pak As you know you need this with a tour pak. Easy to install, about 15 minutes or so. Instructions are good, so there is no guess work involved. The only thing is that I wish they would add a solid replacement rubber plug to replace the one where the antenna was originally mounted!

is this required to put a detachable two up tour pak on a 2015 street glide special

where does it relocate the antenna to from its stock location between the bags and the rear fender
Asked by: kw831
Hi Kw831, If you are installing a Tour-Pak on a 2015 FLHXS, you would need relocate the AM/FM Antenna using either AM/FM Antenna Relocation Kit P/N 76000582 or Boom! Audio Hidden AM/FM/WB Antenna P/N 76000513. The Boom! Audio Hidden AM/FM/WB Antenna, P/N 76000513, would hide the antenna inside the fairing. The AM/FM Antenna Relocation Kit, P/N 76000582, would extend the antenna farther back in its current location, creating enough clearance for the Tour-Pak. Thank you for your question.

Does this kit allow for moving back and forth from the original position, or a permanent relocation?

Does the kit split the antenna cable so that both locations are wired, and the antenna simply is unscrewed and moved to the relocation when ever the luggage rack is used?
Asked by: Mstanforth
Hi Mstanforth, Thank you for your question. No, there is not a splitter with this kit. You have to disconnect the antenna extension inside the Tour-Pak and route it outside and along the bike to connect with this kit. The bracket on this kit will mount to the inner bolt on your saddle bag support. Here is a link to the instruction sheet to get a better visual: Hope this was helpful!
