Airflow Heated Hand Grips

Part Number 56100253

Finish / Color: Chrome

Keep comfortable on cool morning or frigid night rides. These thermostatically controlled grips feature variable heat settings controlled with a military grade resistor, and use automatic temperature monitoring to adjust to ambient temperatures. Grips have been thermally mapped to provide a more uniform heat and are designed to achieve a maximum operating temperature approximately 20° Fahrenheit warmer than previous accessory heated grips for added warmth during cold rides.

  • With both hands on the grips, they remain at a constant temperature regardless of changes in outside temperature
  • Self-contained control circuit and control knob means no additional switches or controller boxes to mount
  • Switched on/off with the ignition to avoid draining your battery
  • Easy-to-install “glueless" design allows removal of the grips without damage
  • Wrap your fingers around the chrome ridge for a sweet tactile feel
  • Combines a traction-grip crosshatch rubber surface with a comfortable 1.6" diameter for excellent control in wet or dry weather

Airflow Heated Hand Grips is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from right out of the package I read quite a few reviews on grips and their reliability. Lots feedback both for and against. I finally decided to replace the stock grips on my 14 Limited and went for the Airflow heated grips. Right out of the package one side was non-responsive. Local dealer replaced them, a week later they are on the bike and working fine.

Do I need to pull the bars off to replace my heated grips

I ride 2016 ultra limited
Asked by: Dahoop61

can you make this in all black

I've just purchased a 2018 Street Glide Special. I LOVE the blacked out look. I want to get heated grips, since I ride year round. But, I want something in all BLACK. I don't care for the current single option for black heated grips. I like the look and feel of this grip, but I would like it in ALL BLACK. It seems your accessories haven't quite caught up with the look of your new bikes. Thanks!

Confused by the internal wiring and more

I have a 2015 Street Glide Special FLHXS and the fitment section says "Not for use with internally wired handlebars." I thought all the new Street Glides had internally wired bars? The next question it says I need the Electrical Connection Kit P/N 69200722 but when I look at the wiring digram for the FLHXS it appears this is already wired and the power port is next to the left signal light the connector is 189B in figure B-13 of the service manual. If I don't need to remove the tank I would rather not but the directions do not even reflect this power connection. Thanks for the help on this.
